Nicki Minaj is in a desperate scramble to reconcile her respectability politics with her own hypersexualized image and it’s pathetic to watch

With great joy, I congratulate my dear brother President Lula @LulaOficial on his historic fourth presidential election victory and the renewed trust of the Brazilian people.
We share a simple but profound conviction. Politics must improve people’s lives, uphold their dignity and bring hope to those too often left behind. That commitment to social justice remains at the heart of our work.
I look forward to strengthening the friendship between Barbados and Brazil as we continue building a fairer, more inclusive and peaceful world.
May God continue to guide and strengthen you, dear brother. There is much work ahead, and much good still to be done!

Brazil’s results tonight are a big endorsement for the idea that every country should have a second “are you you sure about that” election a couple weeks after the first one for the important stuff

Find the way people judge players so binary. Two years ago Mbeumo & Cunha were regarded as two of the best attackers in the league. Tielemans has been one of the best & most consistent CMs in the league past few yrs. Now they’re all apparently shite, with zero nuance as to *why*

It should seriously frighten United fans that Wilcox and Berrada will now choose Manchester United’s new manager. After Ten Hag, Amorim and now Carrick, they are serial failures, out of their depth and clueless about what is needed.

Conte: Would come in, work the players to the bone, go crazy at the board. SACKED in 6 months.
Howe: Would be calm, get a few decent results, then players turn again. SACKED next year.
Nagelsmann: Improves the play, doesn’t get backed in summer. SACKED next year.

Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox should have no future at Manchester United. They have spectacularly failed at building a squad or appointing a manager and should be replaced.

Both hired based on their performance in an environment where they had an artificial advantage of financial doping juicing up their credentials. Drop them in a real club with real issues and they've been found out.

Jim Ratcliffe built his petrochemical empire by buying underperforming chemical and industrial assets on the cheap and then injecting operational efficiency to increase revenue. At the heart of it was having the best people at key positions.
So what baffles me is why he does not do the same at United. United's biggest operational issues, namely Berrada and Wilcox, are seemingly protected despite getting every single decision wrong in the last 3 years. Would he have tolerated such cockups in one of his businesses? He would have surely opted to get better people. So why not at Utd?

INEOS spent all this money hiring people like Berrada and Wilcox for a "football infrastructure." These lot have a worse hit rate than Ed Woodward whose entire football philosophy was signing players purely based on how cool their announcement video would be
