Private chain or public chain? Joseph Lubin @ethereumJoseph says institutions won't have to bet on one.
"Whether you do something on a private chain, you will soon have technology that will make it part of the extended metropolitan Ethereum ecosystem."
The technology he means is synchronous composability: real-time proving plus aggregated zero-knowledge proofs, so separate sovereign chains can work together as one system.
Every Korean institution I meet is asking the private vs public question. Lubin's answer: you can choose either, and still end up on Ethereum.

日本の政府機関が公式に「更新してください」と注意喚起をしているアップデートが先程でました。
この更新には52件のセキュリティー修正の中に深刻性の高いCritical（重大）が４件含まれています。
現時点で悪用が確認される公式情報はありませんがGoogle側は「大多数のユーザーが更新するまで詳細を制限する場合がある」と注記しています。
更新確認は簡単なので画像にまとめました
自動更新が有効になっていない、長期間ブラウザーを閉じずに使っている場合、更新がされていない可能性がありますので念のために確認されることをお勧めします。
Google Authenticator をGoogleアカウントと同期している方、注意が必要です！
Googleアカウントが乗っ取られると、登録している2FAコードも奪われる事に注意が必要です
標準で緑（同期）になっていますが心配な方は設定から非同期にする事が可能
トレードオフとして紛失した時にバックアップが無い問題がありますが
自分の推奨は
古いスマホにQRコードでエクスポートしてバックアップとして保管する
バックアップコードを紙や安全な場所に保存する
です。
特に Google ドライブにパスワードを保存されていると、万が一ハッキングにあった時にID、パスワード、2FAの全てが流出するので注意が必要です！

$ETH isn't going up in price
The very simple and very obvious reason is because the world hasn't started mass tokenization of assets and global currencies.
Yes... we have some tokenization (yellow dotted line), but to put this into perspective. There's roughly $600 trillion assets that need tokenization. We are ~$244 billion as of now.
Once mass tokenization starts the value of ETH will be dragged higher with the value it secures. The market will price in an appropriate value of ETH relative to the assets it secures and economic activity it enables.
ETH is the SoV monetary collateral of the emerging financial system.

ETH速報：米国証券取引委員会(SEC)はイーサリアムなどのDeFi上で米国株のトークン化したRWAの売買の一時的かつ条件付きの「適用除外(イノベーション免除)」を承認。
流動性プールを主体としたAMMを証券取引法上で「証券取引所」とみなされる規制リスクについて一定条件下で免除すると明言、流動性マイニングを行うLPにも一定条件での規制免除を設ける。
このイノベーション免除は将来のSECのDeFi構造に関する理解をさらに深め、今後のルール策定につなげることを目的とする。
