The scrambled eggs at a hotel breakfast are 19% water, and they're dyed.
A lot of hotels and cafeterias pour them from a carton of Papetti's Breakfast Blend. The spec sheet reads whole eggs, 19% water, then under 2% of salt, xanthan gum, citric acid, annatto color and natural butter flavor. Papetti's is part of Michael Foods, one of the biggest egg processors in the country.
Every ingredient has a job on a steam table. Xanthan gum holds the added water in the egg so it doesn't weep into the pan. Citric acid keeps the eggs from turning gray or green under a heat lamp. Annatto puts back the yolk color the water washed out. The butter flavor is there because nobody is going to add butter. The carton keeps for 98 days in the cooler.
The plain version from the same company is whole eggs, whey, skim milk, xanthan and citric acid, with almost no added water and half the sodium.

The one silver lining on De'Von Achane is that he had an 88% snap share and a 14.8% target share
Even if the Miami Dolphins and Bobby Slowick are all-time bad, it's still really hard not to be at least a mid-range RB1 with those numbers
All throughout @FantasyPtsData history, there have been 98 instances of a RB earning a snap share of at least 88% and a target share >10%. On average, RBs score 20.3 FPG in those games

Crazy idea: Spend taxpayer money on supplies for our well-trained and modestly paid sailors, not on electric shock gloves for poorly trained and overpaid ICE agents.

I wish it was more common knowledge that almost all regulations exist because companies weren’t doing these things on their own and bad things were happening because of it.

The abuse the ex wife of the Maine ICE agent details in NPR interview is horrifying, including a 2022 police report of throwing his 13 year old daughter through a coffee table, a voice mail from last year saying her throat should be cut, and pulling a gun on her in the shower. She questions if ICE runs even a basic background check on recruits.
