I don't like this Christian pentecostal fundamentalism I see...I think it breeds disunity and is a recipe for disaster. Religion and state shouldn't mix like this. Baaad idea. No religion is superior in a secular society like ours.
And yes, I'm a Christian.

I'm up in the middle of the night. With only hours left until my release, I was just startled out of a deep sleep at 4:43 am by the prison monitoring center. Had to submit a "biometric check-in" photo to verify I'm actually home.
They call it "policy". I call it abuse. 👊

50-year-old Wynn Bruce, of Boulder, Colorado is a climate activist who set himself on fire in front of the Supreme Court on Earth Day. I've seen several articles that don't even mention anything about the climate. We are living in a corporate-captured fascist dystopia.

a couple days ago i was warned to be more trepid about what i post on social media... when i asked why, it was stated that people do not often publicly flaunt their sexuality and this (to me) was just further proof that heterosexual people truly live in an alternate reality.

A woman dies, allegedly the victim of her husband's violence, and this is what a Pastor writes in response: "that was her own cup of suffering".
When I personally say evangelical church is one of the most toxic institutions out here, propping up toxic marriage, this is it.

They absolutely don't want anyone to make a living at this point.

I fail to understand how some people try so hard to justify beating children up in the name of “disciplining” 😕how does learning/teaching coincide with physical abuse?!

Some straight people make me so mad. Y'all will insert and center yourselves in queer spaces like you belong there in the name of allyship only to bring in the worst aspects of heterosexuality as we know it.
Fuck you fr.

Absolutely enraging. Two systems of justice.
On Monday, a judge in Memphis sentenced a woman to six years in prison for trying to register to vote. He said she had tricked the probation office into signing a form indicating she was eligible. You can watch some of the sentencing hearing here: wreg.com/news/local/memphis-…
