It’s interesting, I’m 100% sure I pay thousands of shekels a month for my Maccabi healthcare plan. According to this ad, the U.S. pays for it(?!?)
This is a vile, antisemitic ad campaign.

On and on and on. It’s a recycled Jew-bashing ad from 2024. Not even made for this campaign. Recycled for another round of attention and clout harvesting. Get everyone stirred up, attack them for being stirred up, claim you’re being defamed. Rinse and repeat.
This is clearly defamatory. Is it @CNN policy to viciously smear someone and not allow them a defense? Do I get to say my piece on your air to counter this defamation or are you giving up any pretenses of objectivity?

Cenk Uygur running an anti-semitic ad that is a harmful distraction to Abdul's campaign in the final week while Obama does turn out rallies for him is a nice capstone to #THEDISCOURSE.

I have not seen so many normal people completely enamored by a new Apple product in years. The swarms around the Duo tables at Apple Stores are making me so happy. People get it. It’s not just the next gen iPhone and it’s not just another foldable. Even the one demo unit at Best Buy had a crowd of kids all around it just entranced. This product and the whole experience around it remind me of the old days in such a special way.

Last week, they were releasing plans for their new country. Today, they fired their leaders and have lost control of their social media.

If the NYT/Siena poll is correct and the generic ballot ends up D+11, this would be the largest midterm victory (for either party) since the Watergate era. It also implies that Democrats would probably win over 250 seats.

Progressives were faster than conservatives to adopt the Internet, and this led to two decades of progressives absolutely curb-stomping conservatives in the culture wars.
Now progressives are refusing to learn to use AI, so there's no chance of repeating the feat.
Albertans: vote, whether separatist or federalist. As a federalist I strongly support voting no to the nine and option 1. Let's move on to building a stronger Alberta within a strong Canada with practical projects and actions.

3D printed a Remote Control Car
Rewired its motor to be controlled by Apple Vision Pro
Added object tracking so a Halo 3 Scarab’s AI will follow it until its destroyed
AND gave it special effects such as occlusion, destruction debris, and spatial audio to hide IRL motor noises

This is such revisionist nonsense. Back when I was at the federal cabinet retreat pleading with them to get the international student situation under control (and getting called a racist for my efforts), Alberta was in the media asking for the population to grow *faster*.
The Prime Minister and I have found common ground on many things over the last 18 months. However, it appears that he has yet to fully understand just how damaging the open-border policies of his predecessor were. Those policies caused Canada’s cost of living to skyrocket, overwhelmed our social services, and made homes and jobs unattainable for thousands of young Canadians.
That’s why I’m encouraging Albertans to vote ‘yes to the rest’ to give our government a strong mandate to take more control over our immigration system, so that we can prioritize economic migrants, put Albertans first for jobs, and ensure Albertans’ social services are sustainable. We’re also asking for a strong mandate to work with willing provinces to reform the courts, abolish the senate, and protect provincial jurisdiction.
I look forward to hearing from Albertans on October 19th.

Once again...
This was such an amazing demonstration of unity and what it means to be Canadian.
This was a celebration of Canada.
And it was beautiful.

It was a wild party last night in YYC at the #ForeverCanadian rally. I had one of my Sons with me (it was his idea to go) and I told him afterwards, it's a day he will remember for the rest of his life. #ableg #abpoli
My octogenarian mother wants a HomeView (she hates my beard too). My wife wants one, etc. we all related to the ad. The different interpretations is what makes art, even ads!, fascinating. You take away what you bring into it.
I read the HomeView ad differently. What made it work for me is that the family felt real. Ads for home devices usually show a polished household nobody actually lives in. This one had a stay-at-home dad, siblings messing with each other, a split of duties that explains why mom had school pickup on the calendar, and an in-law FaceTime that anyone who has dealt with in-laws will recognize as closer to reality than most. My family is probably just as chaotic. HomeView earns its place in that chaos, as the thing that helps the household keep running.

Bunch of people with no kids didn’t understand an ad aimed at people with kids.
Why I think the Homeview launch commercial was the weirdest I've seen from Apple in a long time

I love that Apple lets you check out their new products in your own space before buying them.
Here’s HomeView in all four colors on Apple Vision Pro.

I love how much the wall-mounted Apple HomeView looks like a real-life visionOS widget.
