God finished (synetelesen) his works "on the sixth day." John 19:30, also on the sixth day: "It is finished" (tetelestai). Creation is completed on the Cross.

Honeycomb icecream as a christological symbol.
Christological symbolism in the food the Christ-child ate:
"Foods made from butter and milk were exalted in the biblical tradition; Isaiah prophesied that the Savior as a child born of a virgin, would be fed on butter and honey. While the honey symbolized his divine nature, butter in this passage from the Old Testament was interpreted as an indication of Christ's humanity."
- Piero Camporesi (The Anatomy of the Senses, p. 58)
Such a simple and intuitive interpretation of honey and butter when you think about it.

I don't expect to be believed, but from the ancient western mystery school perspective, technology, natural science, the material world, democracy, and the panopticon are all matriarchal total victory conditions.

As for the timelines, I'm unwilling to debate them unless you've read Locke and Kant's work on time duration in lieu of a conscious perceiver. Melville advises caution, however, as Locke and Kant are explicitly defined as the Right Whale and Sperm Whale respectively.

The man that hath no music in himself,
Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems and spoils;
The motions of his spirit are dull as night
And his affections dark as Erebus:
Let no such man be trusted. Mark the music.

The Haunted Mirror
(A Halloween Fairy Tale)
I wrote this story 3 months ago as part of my process of reflecting on the Garden of Eden. I think the story has value in itself and is worth sharing. It has Halloween themes so i'm posting it on my substack.

Jesus advocating for nomadism is pretty conservative if you think about it. 1950? More like -3950.

If you want to start a college, pivot to starting a monastery. Colleges are lapsed cults of monasteries. If you make a college now, you're doing that baby beaver thing where you build a dam out of toys in a hallway.

There is a reason why it says Joseph was suppose to meet them at Shechem. This is the place where they were supposed ruminate on the TKGB (which is represented by Mount Ebal and Gerizim in the land of Israel). They were supposed to have the flock graze in that place (=ruminate)

Curiosità. Ad Alatri nel Chiostro di San Francesco in una angusta intercapedine è stato trovato raffigurato un labirinto con all'interno un Cristo Pantocratore risalente al XIII secolo

I'm recording tonight with @sympractical on Chapter 89 of Moby-Dick: Fast-Fish and Loose Fish!
What would happen if Ahab were able to make Moby Dick a fast fish?
Very exciting--the proper way to spend a Saturday evening.
