Alright folks: Democrats officially have the majority in both chambers of Congress. Celebrate. Feel joyful. But know Democrats must use the moment to deliver bold, meaningful change. Voters have given us a real chance to get this right—and this is where the real work starts.

Florida Dems, don’t despair. We moved the Governors race 18 points to the left despite being outspent by $160 million. We moved the Senate 10 points to the left from 2024. We ended the supermajorities in the Florida House and Senate, we beat the DeSantis Dummymander PLUS flipping another seat in Congress. We have several other Congressional seats that Trump won by double digits within 1 point. We got our Cabinet races within 2 points. A few months ago, if anyone would have predicted these results in Florida they would have been told they were insane. Let’s build off of this for 2028 and let’s make Florida a state not to be ignored in the Presidential race.

The fight isn't over. The work isn't done. But tonight, Florida Democrats proved that organizing matters, turnout matters, and every vote matters. A seat here. A district there. A supermajority gone. That's how change begins.

Decency matters. Character counts.
A special moment today as Laura and I cast our votes at home in Pinellas County. Deciding to run for governor was a family decision, one that we made together. We committed to it because we want our kids, CeCe and Teddy, to grow up in a better Florida. After nearly two years on the trail, we looked at each other this morning and said “we did it.” We made it to the last chapter of this campaign. Florida, the future’s now in your hands. Thank you for allowing us to be on this journey with you.

Buttigieg: This isn't happening because of Covid. The gas prices aren't happening because Putin started a war. Gas prices are happening because Donald Trump started a war. Mortgage rates are over 7% because the Trump administration decided to give away $1 trillion in tax breaks to corporations and the wealthiest people in the country, blew up the deficit while doing so.  It's not even that they tried and failed to lower costs. It's that their choices have actively, directly increased costs. And as you can tell from the president's performance today, they don't care.

Hillary Clinton: “The profit that the Trump family has made off of the presidency could pay for a full year of SNAP benefits for about 1.3M people, 600M free school lunches, or three months of groceries for the 5.2M people who have been thrown off SNAP. Wasting your tax money, the corruption is rife, it’s undermining government services, even our national defense, and hurting people who should be able to get support because of their needs for food or to pay their bills. We already know that he’s a fraudster”

Funny how data centers always look so impressive in the pitch. People living beside an 800,000-square-foot facility in Sterling, VA tell a different story: noise, exhaust, bright lights. Republicans eager for more should go knock on those doors. #RepublicansLoveDataCenters

I'd like to remind Trump administration that after Iran war started, Ukraine deployed experts and technology to the Middle East to help Gulf states defend themselves against Iranian drones and protect US bases in the region, while Russia provided targeting information to Iran.

Texas was built by hope. By people who had no business believing — but believed anyway. To every Texan who’s ever wondered if anyone in power is paying attention: We are taking our state back. Because a little bit of hope is a dangerous thing.
