The world is not designed to reward goodness, honesty, or hard work. It rewards value, power, leverage, and the ability to influence outcomes. Morality matters, but it does not guarantee success. Intelligence matters, but it does not guarantee opportunity. And hard work means very little when the system you operate in is designed to keep you disadvantaged.
lately, so many relationships are ending because one partner is anxiously attached and the other is avoidant.
the anxious partner wants to talk about every problem right away and fix it. the avoidant partner needs space before they can talk it through.
the anxious partner reads the distance as "you don't love me." the avoidant partner reads the intensity as "I'm losing my freedom."
after every argument, the anxious partner needs closeness. the avoidant partner needs distance.
the anxious partner chases to feel secure. the avoidant partner pulls away to protect themselves.
and it goes on and on until one of them can't take it anymore and walks away.
it's not that they didn't love each other. they just weren't ready to understand the pattern and adjust to it.
really sad ngl
Utterly disgusting, the fact that your partner is poor doesn't automatically give you the responsibility of changing their financial status or rescuing them from poverty as a prove of love, you would be an idiot for taking on that responsibility except you want to.
why should you care about how much your partner is making, why should you be jealous about what your partner buys instead of being happy for the person?
I like to get expensive stuff because I can afford it for myself, and still be balanced but because I am dating someone I have to do the same thing for two? That's stupid.
It's okay to be wealthy and have a poor girlfriend or boyfriend, I mean after all you love the person not their pocket.
When the person is ready to work hard and get their money up, good for them.
loneliness can be so tiring, bro.
no one to text, no one to check in on you, no one who knows when you're struggling or not, no one to create memories with, no one to talk to or do things with that make you happy.
yeah, it seems peaceful, but then that wave hits all of a sudden and you just wallow in a void of sadness.
