Segal has admitted, after Shoebridge got it out of her, that she has put in a submission for the Duty of Care legislation seeking to add provisions to limit the reach of anonymous accounts on social media (among other things).

David Shoebridge and David Pocock are asking the questions most Australians want answered.
Nobody else is.
They are calm, intelligent and tell the truth.
A trait absent in most politicians.
They are more than worthy of our backing and votes.

David Shoebridge is on fire at the NPC, rejects claim The Greens are not near the “sensible centre” just coz they don’t bash migrants & oppose Israel’s genocide,
“I reject any correlation b/w that & what we’ve been doing…to call out a genocide & say kids should not be killed”💥

The Greens are today announcing our plan to cut tax on work and put more money in people's pockets.
Every Australian will have an extra $1000, paid for by the 1%.
The cost-of-living crisis isn’t inevitable. We can change who pays tax and who gets relief.

If Pauline Hanson had her legs cut off by a nutter & Labor or Greens ran cartoons with images of people being run over, do you REALLY think One Nation would laugh it off as ‘satire’? Of course not. It’s time politicians got serious on level of VIOLENCE gripping Australia. #auspol

This really hasn't been looked at anywhere near enough.
Naveed Akram, the young Bondi gunman allegedly came onto ASIO's radar in Oct 2019 where he was allegedly "monitored" for 6 months.
ASIO claims they concluded after 6 short months that he “no longer posed a security threat.”
That brings ASIO to March/April 2020
The linked ABC article shows former ASIO head, Dennis Richardson, who recently resigned from the Bondi Royal Commission, indicating to ABC that his resignation was influenced by many factors, including him questioning ASIO’s sudden dropping of Akram’s monitoring.
In the beginning of 2020, ASIO was reeling from one of the most significant budget and staffing cuts in its history, implemented by Dennis Richardson's successor, the eternally publicity focused, Mike Burgess. This blood letting of ASIO staff, known as the Red Wedding, saw many experienced ASIO staff leave or take redundancies in and around exactly the same period it was allegedly concluded that Akram was “no longer a threat”. In other words, they simply stopped what they were doing.
The time of March/April 2020 is also highly significant for the full throttle impact and uncertainty of Covid as it hit Australia with a bang. Layoffs began, workplaces started entering restrictions and panic set in.
Given Dennis Richardson’s recent statements, it’s worth questioning why the very timely and quick conclusion from Oct to March that Naveed Akram simply didn’t need to be monitored or assessed anymore, also happened to occur at the same time of ASIO clearing out so many vital staff with $8.6M in savage budget cuts, as well as the devastating and unprecedented arrival of Covid.

Join the call for Australia’s media companies to stand together by refusing to cover One Nation events until the access issue is resolved. Media companies should be insisting that One Nation accepts the attendance of ALL accredited journalists, not just the ones it perceives as unquestioning or supportive. We need a robust liberal democracy ... not a Trumpian perversion.

I feel more people should be discussing Pauline Hanson suing over a satirical song about her back in 1997 and 2003.
@PPantsdown (Simon Hunt) released a song, 'I'm A Backdoor Man' that arranged Hanson soundbites to have her saying . . . 'I'm very proud that I'm not natural. I'm a backdoor man for the Ku Klux Klan' and 'I'm a very caring potato', among other words of wisdom.
Interestingly, Hanson's so-called support of satire escaped her and through her lawyers, she lodged defamation proceedings in the QLD courts, arguing the satire was injurious and defamatory and the lyrics and audio imputations falsely portrayed her as:
• a homosexual, a transvestite/man, or a prostitute
• engaging in unnatural sexual practices or pedophilia
• associating with the Ku Klux Klan
• being a subhuman or a "caring potato"
(please try to read that with a straight face)
The proceedings resulted in the granting of an injunction in Pauline Hanson's favour restraining the continued publication of the satirical material.
After remaining legally dormant for roughly five years, Hanson reactivated the existing defamation case in the Supreme Court of Queensland in mid-2003. Legal analysts and media noted that Hanson revived the lawsuit specifically around the same time she was facing high-profile criminal charges and prison time for electoral fraud.
Anywhoo, it seems Pauline Hanson and her team of bald men are very happy to cruelly and sadistically mock others, especially women with disabilities, but when it comes to mocking Pauline, that so-called sense of humour suddenly vaporises.
