The last g-loaded LSAT was taken in 2007 I believe
They have tremendously watered down the LSAT. The scores are no longer meaningful which means “elite” admissions are now arbitrary and they have ruined the only metric that assured “top” lawyers would be smart people who can add value just as the profession is about to get eaten by AI.

Elected Democrats DO care about energy prices. They want them higher. So high Americans have fewer (if any) kids, don't drive an SUV, don't fly, and don't comfortably heat or cool your home. Here's how we know: (1) Nearly 60 Democrat states, cities and counties are suing energy companies, demanding Americans' energy costs exponential increase to pay for all harm caused by the weather. Will increase energy costs by billions, if consumers can shoulder these costs at all. (2) Under Trump's targeted program, four new nuclear technologies reached self-sustainment. Under Biden? Zero. Nuclear is the only solution to our energy needs and only Trump has delivered. (3) The Green New Deal: 100+ House Dems and a dozen senators signed on. Cost? $51 trillion to $93 trillion over 10 years. (4) Democrat regulations have purposefully made energy unattainable and expensive. Biden paused new LNG export approvals, wrote emissions rules to force consumers into expensive EVs, and lest we forget attempted to ban gas stoves. (5) Maybe the biggest and most harmful Democrat project is the creation of hurdles for anyone trying to build, by requiring banks to consider "climate risk" in whether to finance a project, and labeling it quietly: ESG score. Unattainable energy under Democrats isn't a side effect. It's the plan.

Fascinating discussion of how the podcasters/law professors at Strict Scrutiny appear to have made a fundamental error in an article published by Supreme Court Review. The basis appears to be a failed cite check. (It does not appear to be a hallucination.) Very interesting!

This is the sort of argument made by people who don’t understand democracy or don’t care about it.
Given how much people resist even modest food system reforms like the proposed foie gras ban in DC, it can be tempting to moderate our ambitions about this issue. I think this is a mistake. In my view, we should pressure the international community to set a goal of banning industrial animal agriculture by 2050. Industrial animal agriculture causes massive and unnecessary harm to animal welfare, public health, and the environment. It has no place in modern civilization, and there are ample legal instruments and precedents for coordinating internationally around a global transition over the next quarter century. verfassungsblog.de/global-ba…

When your heart is pure, there is no sin too big to be forgiven. Anyone judging you hasn’t forgiven themselves - and for probably way worse sins than yours. Never doom. You are a person. Keep being a person and just purify your heart. Real ones will forgive and accept you.

SNAP trafficking over $100 is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison. These people take their EBT cards, or buy card details from others cashing out, and load up at grocery store hot food bars, then resell the food in styrofoam containers on social media. A federal food assistance program intended to prevent hunger and malnutrition is absurd enough in a country like ours, where our poor actually have the opposite problem, but reaches new heights of insanity when you realize we are spending 5x the budget of NASA every year to fund trashy Facebook marketplace Uber Eats. There is no reason for this to exist. It’s just completely fake. Loads of federal spending is like this.
buying homemade "plates" from people online is one of the most bizarre and foreign concepts I've ever seen

Kalshi doesn’t have to prove it wrong. If millionaires are doing this, you can prove them wrong by profitably betting against them. (I have a friend who made good money on Fischback’s attempt to manipulate his election market.) So why are you not doing this, anon?
Replying to @Kalshi
Haha. Democrat Millionaires are dumping millions of dollars into Kalshi to influence election. Prove me wrong Kalshi.

“Crops Rotting In Fields” has been a @Steve_Sailer Special since at least 2006. One of our great journalistic traditions. Glad to see it still going strong.
Good news, red staters. Lots of jobs now open to pick fruit and vegetables in the broiling sun on minimum wage

Pretty surreal discourse when you didn’t visit a Cheesecake Factory till adulthood because it was so expensive.
This line is getting praise on X, but it’s actually elitist garbage written by a speechwriter who clearly hasn’t spent much time in a Cheesecake Factory, which has none of the gaudy Trump aesthetic, and just feels good to say because it represents flyover MAGA “night out.”

Police in DC routinely turn a blind eye to unleashed dogs in public areas. Here is an unleashed pit bull in line at an outdoor taco place 20 feet from a children’s playground. We need to enforce the law.
If we don’t change this … in 40 years we will look back on allowing dogs in downtowns the same way we look at cars: As a terrible mistake for how it molded dense urban environment for the benefit of a few ... by not properly pricing in public costs of the "free rider" dog owners and by changing the entire culture to accommodate them. My fear is by then (like with cars today) there will be too many ppl accustomed to the private benefits and impunity of living downtown with their dogs so we're only able to make marginal changes And that negative downstream effects (fewer kids, playgrounds, dirty sidewalks, dog attacks) will be baked in

It’s easy for normies to miss a rise in demon prevalence or activity, especially when they’re so concentrated in education.
I find myself thinking more and more lately: “What if there were genuinely demonic forces at play in the world? What would that look like? And how is it different from what we actually see?”
