Please join us in congratulating @EmmeHackworth on her commitment to continue her softball career at West Point United States Military Academy. That kind of commitment, sacrifice, discipline, and character say so much about the young women she has become.
Congratulations @EmmeHackworth and Go Army!!🇺🇸
I am so excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the United States Military Academy at West Point!!💛⚔️🖤 I am so blessed and honored to receive this opportunity to get a West Point education, serve my country, and continue playing the sport I love. 🥎
First, I want to give all thanks and glory to God. He has given me this opportunity and guided me down a path I never imagined for myself. GOD IS SO GOOD!! His plans are always greater!
I want to thank my dad, mom, and sisters for being with me through this whole process. Dad, thank you for catching every pitching lesson and pushing me to be better. To all of you, thank you for supporting me through every decision and always being by my side! Thanks to all my friends, coaches, and teammates who have helped shape me into the person I am today!
To the Army softball coaching staff, Coach Consaul, Coach Gorman, and Coach Rama: I cannot wait for what is ahead! Thank you for trusting me with the opportunity to represent Army West Point Softball, the Academy, and to be a part of something so much greater than myself!
I am so excited to be a Black Knight! GO ARMY!!💛🇺🇸🖤

3-0 on day one in Virginia Beach. It was great to be back on the dirt with our crew. Great pitching, solid defense and timely hitting led to scoring 20 runs and only giving up 1 earned run.
