Housing targets. Gambling harms. Emergency funding.
Our MPPs asked ministers to explain the numbers — and whether the government’s plans actually match the problems Ontarians are facing.

Today, I launched, Health Care for All, a plan to rebuild our publicly funded health system that Ford’s PCs have spent 8 years tearing down. It fixes what’s broken now.
· supporting seniors age at home
· proactively keeping people healthy
· a primary team for every Ontarian
· expanded public coverage for mental health, starting with youth
· properly supporting hospitals, and ending overcharging by private providers.
And it replaces the PC’s short-sighted approach with a forward-thinking commitment to ensure our health system remains universal and is ready for generations to come.
Let’s rebuild publicly funded health care together.

Before entering politics, I spent 27 years working in healthcare. I know firsthand the dedication healthcare workers bring to their jobs, the difference they make in people’s lives, and how much Ontario depends on a strong, well- supported healthcare system.
That’s why the endorsements of these healthcare professionals and former Ontario Ministers of Health mean so much to me. Their support is both deeply personal and a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we put healthcare first.
Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing my healthcare platform - a plan to build a stronger healthcare system for everyone in Ontario. I look forward to sharing it with you.

Ah, the famous Ford government accountability. Lie, cheat and steal your way to the top. Loyalty to selves and donors over tax payers, always

When 1 in 10 Toronto residents rely on a food bank, and 35% of food bank users hold multiple jobs, we need to do more to address the root causes of food insecurity and unaffordability.
With the team at Daily Bread Food Bank, we discussed long-term solutions to prevent seniors from becoming unhoused, and the need to replace the incarceration of unhoused people with humane, evidence-based solutions.
We need to ensure everyone has access to appropriate food and housing to live with dignity.
Thank you to Neil Hetherington and the entire team at Daily Bread Food Bank for your incredible work.

I spent 27 years in health care. I’ve seen what works, and I’ve seen what’s broken.
In the coming days I’ll release Health Care for All, my plan to rebuild publicly funded health care in Ontario. It’s shaped by the nurses, doctors and health workers I’ve worked alongside, and by people across the province who are waiting too long for care.
It will show how we get every Ontarian a primary care team, help seniors age at home, deliver public coverage for mental health care, starting with young people, and help people stay healthy before they get sick.
Health care Ontarians can count on, today and for the next generation.
Join me. Let’s rebuild health care for all.
The bump in salary can pay for his hotel bill that he charged to the public🥴

$117 million would pay for hundreds of more nurses and educators. Instead, Doug Ford spent $117 million on advertising to promote his own government.
Your money should be working for you - not ads to promote Doug Ford’s image. It’s time for a serious government in Ontario. #onpoli
Today is the 12th anniversary of the shootings on Parliament Hill. I am remembering sheltering in locked rooms all day long in Centre Block with fellow MPs and staff.
But what I most want to acknowledge today is that we felt safe because of the brave and quick-acting Parliament Hill security staff and their clear and prompt instructions. Thank you to all today who provide security on Parliament Hill and the Ontario Legislature at Queen's Park.

Throughout my career in healthcare and the legislature, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside many dedicated public servants including Bryan Stortz.
As Director of Communications for the Region of Waterloo, Bryan played a vital role in keeping the community informed and supported during the COVID-19 pandemic. We worked closely together to ensure people had clear, timely information to understand the evolving situation and protect themselves and their families.
I saw Bryan’s leadership, professionalism and commitment to his community in action during that time and now during this campaign. I’m honoured to have his endorsement.

Proud to support @LFairclo, she’ll be a fantastic leader!!!
As an MPP and as a parent, I’m incredibly encouraged by the energy, optimism and talent of young people in Ontario - people like Nate Manis.
As the policy chair of Young Liberals of Canada, Nate is passionate about our province and our country. A Liberal since the age of 15, he represents a generation that isn’t waiting for the future to happen, but rather is stepping up to shape it.
I am proud to have Nate’s endorsement and look forward to working alongside him and other young leaders to build the Ontario they deserve. @Nate_Manis
