A nice relaxing weekend but back in the saddle next Sunday. Looks like good weather for a fall tailgate with the Ravens coming to OP.
Anyone interested in renting the RV next weekend for the Ravens game?
Message me…
#Bills are a 3.5 point home favorite next week against the Ravens.
Over/under is 52.5
I think Diaz went around.
Regardless, #Brewers spotted the Rays ace 4 runs and still beat Tampa.
What a special team.
#Bills have the 5th oldest logo in all of pro sports. 2nd oldest in the NFL.
How long has each franchise in the Big 4 used it's current primary logo?

Sam said himself the block was not dirty.
And he still got fined.
There’s no evidence of any spitting, so overturning the suspension makes sense but the resolution is hardly an exoneration of his actions and trying to rope DJ Glaze into the blame in this statement seems disingenuous.
Statement from Bills DB Sam Franklin Jr.’s agents, Harold C. Lewis and Christian Addison, after appeals officer James Thrash reduced Franklin’s one-game suspension to a $14,926 fine for unsportsmanlike conduct:
“As we said from the start, Sam did not and would never spit at an opponent, and there was no evidence that he did. We're glad the suspension was overturned and grateful to the hearing officer for a fair and thorough review. It's unfortunate the league suspended Sam in the first place based on an unsupported accusation that received so much undeserved attention, and we hope the outcome is covered just as widely. We also hope the league takes a serious look at the opposing player's conduct, including striking Sam in the groin twice during the game. We're glad this is behind him, so Sam can get back to focusing on his teammates and next Sunday.”
I really like the point from Reid.
In every sport, suspensions get appealed and often reduced.
Especially if those appeals will be heard in 48 hours. Wait until the FULL process has concluded and then announce the punishment.
100% correct here Sal.
I’ve long argued for the NFL to wait until AFTER the appeals process is over to announce fines and suspensions. Almost every fine/suspension is appealed by the player and lots are reduced or taken away. The player is still judged on the original news regardless, which is not always right.
Liked the FG try by Chicago there.
If you make it you win.
If you miss and get a stop, you win.
If you give up a TD, with two timeouts left, good chance you get the ball back with time to win anyway.

Hearing officer Jordy Nelson, jointly appointed by the NFL and the NFLPA, has upheld the one-game suspension of C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

What would be the dream player #Bills could land in trade?
Me and @caleb_carr have ideas.
Plus which player is most likely to be improved after the bye.

#Sabres should start offering fans a chance to predict the exact second they get down two goals.
Split the pot with the winner.
At least make a little money off this.

Characterizing or inferring this as a purposeful“shot to the groin” to justify the alleged spitting is wild.

What should the #Bills work on fixing during the bye?

It's waaay early.
But the Sixers almost toyed with the Knicks...
The defending champs...
Over the last 5 minutes of that game.
Could be really fun year for us Philly fans.

They should absolutely get to wear these all year.
Or at least rotate them in frequently.
The Knicks’ opening night jerseys have gold letters and numbers. Yeah, these are tough.
