Good night, my dear friends. 💤🌙 As the evening settles around us, may the comforting presence of our Lord Jesus Christ bring peace to your hearts and homes. Whatever burdens you carried today, lay them at His feet and trust Him to watch over you while you rest. ✝️🙏❤️ Cherish the people God has placed in your life, hold your loved ones a little closer, and treasure those precious fur babies whose unconditional love makes every day brighter. Even those who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge remain forever tucked inside our hearts. ❤️🐾🌈 May your night be filled with peaceful dreams, your hearts with gratitude, and your tomorrow with renewed hope. Rest easy knowing that God's love never sleeps and His blessings are always near. Sweet dreams, my friends. God bless you and keep you and your families safe throughout the night. ❤️🙏🌙

Sometimes life can feel like it's just stacking up against you. One thing after another until you start thinking about just giving up. I'm here to tell you that giving up is never an option. The man in this video could have given up. They were seeing stars, but yet they fought back and ended up shocking everyone. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing 100%.

MNN Sports Desk Tampa Bay jumped out 4-0 in the first and then just… stopped. Bullpen melted, defense mailed it in, and Milwaukee chipped away like they always do Series shifts to the Trop, but this one feels over. Sweep incoming Braves mug stays on the desk ~ Chop Chop !!

MNN Sports Desk Brewers up 3-1 in the 9th. Megill loads the bases with one out. Hicks hits a grounder that looks like a game-ending double play. Brewers celebrate, fireworks go off… then the Rays challenge. Replay: Pratt’s foot off the bag. Call overturned. Run scores, now 3-2 with runners on 2nd & 3rd and two outs. Megill regroups, strikes out DeLuca. Brewers win Game 1. Wild.

In 1865, a French political intellectual and anti-slavery activist named Edouard de Laboulaye proposed that a statue representing liberty be built for the United States. This monument would honor the United States' centennial of independence and the friendship with France. French sculptor Auguste Bartholdi supported de Laboulaye's idea and in 1870 began designing the statue of "Liberty Enlightening the World." In 1876, French artisans and craftsmen began constructing the Statue in France under Bartholdi's direction. The arm holding the torch was completed in 1876 and shown at the Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia. The head and shoulders were completed in 1878 and displayed at the Paris Universal Exposition. The entire Statue was completed and assembled in Paris between 1881 and 1884. Also in 1884, construction on the pedestal began in the United States. Upon its arrival in New York Harbor on June 17, 1885, Americans enthusiastically welcomed the Statue of Liberty, with two hundred thousand people lining the docks and hundreds of boats putting to sea to greet the ship carrying the disassembled statue. The Statue of Liberty was shipped to New York in 350 individual pieces packed in over 200 crates and arrived on June 17, 1885. It was then reassembled on Liberty Island, with the pedestal completed in April 1886, leading to its dedication on October 28, 1886. The costs associated with shipping the Statue of Liberty from France are not specifically detailed, but the total cost of building the statue was approximately $250,000, which was funded by the French people. The United States was responsible for the pedestal, which added to the overall expenses, but exact shipping costs are not provided in the available information. Upon arrival, the crates were taken to Liberty Island (formerly Bedloe's Island). The reassembly of the statue took several months before it was officially dedicated. The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on October 28, 1886. The dedication ceremony was presided over by President Grover Cleveland. This monumental effort marked the beginning of the statue's role as a symbol of freedom and democracy in the United States.

Obama just roasted the White House renovations, saying Trump’s got it looking like “Saddam Hussein opened a Cheesecake Factory” because of all the gold. Is that really an insult? or more like a compliment? 😂😂🤷🏻‍♀️

In 1984, a beautiful 19-year-old model named Paulina Porizkova appeared in The Cars' music video for "Drive," and millions of music fans got their first look at a woman who would become one of the most famous supermodels of the decade. Paulina was born in Czechoslovakia in 1965. Her family eventually settled in Sweden, where her modeling career began. By the early 1980s, she was working internationally, and in 1984, she became the first woman from Central Europe to grace the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. That same year, she appeared in the "Drive" video, directed by actor Timothy Hutton. It was during filming that she met Ric Ocasek, and the two eventually fell in love. They married in 1989 and had two sons together. Paulina went on to appear on countless magazine covers, became the face of Estée Lauder, and established herself as one of the highest-paid models of her era. She also appeared in films, including "Her Alibi" alongside Tom Selleck in 1989. Now in her 60s, Paulina continues to model and has become an outspoken advocate for women embracing aging naturally. Do you remember Paulina Porizkova from The Cars' "Drive" video?

This woman was told ten times she’s trespassing and to get off the shop floor and go to the office. She stayed for hours, phone glued to her ear, demanding keys and “exactly what she told you” about her car while vehicles sat on lifts and tools were out. Overlays already said the quiet part: “IS SHE ON DRUGS??” and “I pray she gets the help she needs.” Two hours later she’s still in there rewriting the story. Auto shops are workplaces, not lobbies. Cars on lifts + random people wandering = liability and a safety issue. Call the cops for trespassing. “Customer service” ends when someone refuses to leave after clear instructions. She’s the customer from hell.
