A mother has to leave her 6 month old to pursue her dreams of becoming a Gynecologist. 2 years of sheer hardwork, anxiety and feeling guilt. It has now been 2 years since our final exams got delayed. This is the plight of the students of CPS. We are human too. @PMOIndia @MoHFW_INDIA

For the last four months, since the start of the academic year, teachers and headmasters across govt schools in #Maharashtra have been paying from their own pockets to keep their mid-day meal programmes running. The schools, officials said, were hit by a delay in the disbursal of the PM Poshan fund, a central scheme that sponsors the meals. Even the cooks haven’t been paid salaries, teachers told TOI.

Dr Shivasharanappa Patil, a first-year Surgery resident at Sion Hospital, is gone. His family and colleagues are grieving—and they deserve more than a condolence message.
The circumstances must be investigated transparently. How are residents being supported, protected and given rest? A doctor’s life cannot be treated as expendable. Om Shanti.🙏🙏

AIIMS Jodhpur. Another doctor lost.
Dr Raj Naresh, reportedly a Senior Resident in Anaesthesia (Sem 2 JR), and a 2016 UG alumnus of AIIMS Jodhpur, has allegedly died by suicide today.
A colleague alleges he was facing severe toxicity, was unwell, had undergone a dengue test yesterday, was suffering—and was still denied leave.
And this is allegedly NOT isolated.
The resident claims:
• 7 days/week
• Up to 20 HOURS A DAY
• Weekly offs only “on paper”
• Severe toxicity across surgical branches
If these allegations are true, AIIMS Jodhpur owes answers.
How many doctors have to collapse or die before resident doctors are treated like HUMAN BEINGS instead of disposable labour?
This needs an immediate, independent investigation.

A man spends 50 years teaching at MIT.
He knows his time is running out.
So he records one last lecture — everything he knows, distilled into a single hour.
He died 5 months later.
This is that lecture.

Gazab Chu**** banaya hai general public ka.
The salaries exist for them to treat patient- for upkeep of the hospital - not teach MBBS students. That’s not the primary purpose.
AIIMS main Kal MBBS band kardo - budget will stay exactly the same.
It won’t suddenly decrease by 1000 crores. (2 crore * 500 MBBS students)
Replying to @DrAditya2935
Are you dumb that you don't know that
Even newer GMCs need building and other infra to teach MBBS graduates along with yearly budget of around 100 crores for salaries and buying new equipments, beds etc.
That's why politicians say they spend at least 1-2 Cr per seat in GMCs.

The entire protest was centered around the #NEET paper leak and the future of aspiring doctors.
Everyone should come forward to support fair, transparent, and leak-free examinations. A merit-based system is essential to protect the future of deserving students and strengthen the healthcare system.
We no longer want assurances ;we want accountability.
If you fail to do your job, you must be prepared to vacate your chair. Public office is a responsibility, not a privilege.

He's Tukaram Mundhe, a 2005-batch IAS from Maharashtra.
Over the last few weeks, you might have heard his name. That is because he was recently appointed Commissioner of State’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Since taking charge, the FDA has been on an absolute warpath, raiding illegal, fake, synthetic, and adulterated products. From synthetic milk networks and adulterated paneer to illegal gutkha and unhygienic eateries, nothing has escaped his radar.
Mundhe has made it clear that even the most famous names will not get a free pass. His department shocked Mumbai by suspending the food licenses of iconic establishments, such as the 73-year-old Marine Drive ice cream parlor K. Rustom & Co., alongside famous eateries like Shalimar Hospitality, Noor Mohammadi Hotel, and Rahmaniya Restaurant, after surprise inspections uncovered severe hygiene violations, including live pests and expired ingredients.
Such is the fear of his crackdowns that, just two days ago, dairy farmers were caught on video spilling hundreds of liters of synthetic milk after rumors of an impending FDA raid spread.
This is his 25th transfer in a 21-year career, a testament to his refusal to bend to political pressure. It makes you wonder: if just one IAS officer can bring about so much change, where would our country be if every bureaucrat were as uncompromising and proactive as him?

The lack of basic humanity is unbelievable. Atleast start talks for @Wangchuk66 sir's health. As a doctor , I can say with conviction that most of us have already lost faith in the system. Save his life. #protest #sonamwangchuk

Another Young Doctor Lost While on Duty. 💔
A junior Orthopedic Resident Doctor at GSVM Medical College, Kanpur reportedly suffered a sudden cardiac arrest during duty and passed away despite all resuscitative efforts by colleagues.
My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends, and colleagues. May the departed soul rest in peace.
The toxic culture of 36-hour continuous shifts, missed meals, sleep deprivation, and relentless workload is costing doctors their lives.
Doctors are trained to healnot to endure inhuman working conditions.
It's time to prioritize doctors' health, ensure humane working conditions, and address burnout before more lives are lost. 🕊️💔

An Open Letter to the Jantar Mantar protestors:
My dear young friends,
I address you today not as a politician or an MP, but as someone deeply troubled by what is happening to your generation of young Indians.
This is personal for me. I was born to a middle-class family: my father was a salaried newspaper employee, my mother a homemaker, with three children to educate on one income. For a family like ours, merit was not a slogan. Scholarships, fair examinations, honest results — these were the only way one salary could carry three children's dreams.
I went to school in Mumbai and Kolkata, to college here in Delhi, topped the University and earned admission into IIM — and chose instead to follow my passion for international affairs, in America, on a scholarship. Nothing was inherited; everything was earned by hard work and yes, Exams.
So I know that a fair, merit-based system is the only ladder for young people from lower and middle-income families to climb up. When that ladder is broken — papers leaked, examinations cancelled, trust destroyed — the children of the rich and powerful do not suffer. They have other ladders. It is your dreams, and your families' sacrifices (and tragically, in some homes, young lives themselves) that are betrayed.
To the young people gathered at Jantar Mantar, and those raising your voices peacefully across India: this country hears you. Your anger is not indiscipline — it is the anguish of a generation that did everything right and was still betrayed . You are not alone.
And to the millions of young Indians watching quietly: your generation is not a problem to be managed. You are the answer to India's future. Do not lose hope. This ladder will be rebuilt — by you, and by every Indian who stands with you.
To Shri Sonam Wangchuk-ji, my heartfelt appeal: please end your fast. You have awakened the conscience of the nation; that is what a fast is meant to do. India needs your voice for the long road ahead.
With Parliament in session again from Monday, we will have an opportunity to raise the students’ issues in the highest forum of our democracy. That’s where the problem should be addressed, not by fasting unto death. Please heed my plea.
And finally, to the Government: I respectfully urge you to reach out and engage in the dialogue our democracy owes its young citizens. That is not weakness; that is statesmanship.

Onus of saving Sonam Wangchuk is not on anyone, but Government.
This is a dialogue between a citizen and a Government.
Everything else is noise.
Ye nhi aaya woh nhi aaya.
Only that needs to respond to whom Sonam Wangchuk wants to speak.
