New Year, new thread
Games I’ve beat in 2026
Game 1- Expedition 33
My 2025 Game of the Year and just a stunning RPG that may wind up my favorite RPG ever. I love the combat, the world, and the characters.
I just spent three months working part time at Target and never sold a single Xbox despite having them in stock for 90% of that time
So uhhhh… she may be overstating it a bit
Xbox consoles are in higher demand than supply can accommodate, says CEO Asha Sharma:
"Console sales remain constrained by supply, with more demand than consoles available. We’re working to get more consoles into players’ hands"
#Xbox
Has CBR, Collider, AND Polygon in her bio
I wouldn’t trust her about media if she told me Kermit was in a Muppet movie 😂
I have seen the first two episodes of #RingsOfPower season 3 and it is better than ever! Just as breathtaking and captivating as its previous seasons.
If I was working somewhere and this lady came in I’d do everything in my power to not be the one to help her
She has to be a nightmare to deal with
Weird convo at dentist today. I stopped going to her for cleanings as I found an independent hygienist who runs a solo practice & will N95 for me and open windows. Unfortunately I needed work done on a chipped tooth. Anyway, she points to the Airfanta wearable and asks “is that
ALT Great curly hair, dark framed glasses. Black mask with gold chain and ghost charm. Airfanta wearable around neck, fan pointed at face. Black turtle neck. Black and grey wrap over shoulders
This stuff is why letting people go when you have right of way is not actually a good thing a lot of the time. The lady making the turn didn’t look and just took it as permission to go and caused an accident
There is no need to try and give nuance to orcs in Lord of the Rings and it doesn’t give the show “depth” to force it in there
Too much media nowadays thinks that not having actual evil in their project gives it depth when it doesn’t
Hey @grok, what are 5 reasons for people to unfollow me?
Okay this is a great example of how to present data in both a good and bad way:
25 women and girls a day is a good way to get across your point because that’s a tragedy
“1 in 4”… that’s bad cause it makes it seem like you’re upset it’s not more men and boys dying instead
25 women and girls.
That’s how many were killed 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙙𝙖𝙮 in conflict zones in 2025.
#Peace must mean safety for women and girls.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
According to the same UN report, women and girls accounted for one in four of over 37,000 civilian deaths in 2025. Men and boys were the remaining three-quarters. The report notes men are still likelier to be killed.

This isn’t kindness and sympathy, it’s virtue signaling that sets that person up to harm others. If that person reoffends and hurts someone all Bennnny did was get blood on his own hands

A lot of people around me in my life are having great things happen for them in their personal lives
I don’t begrudge any of them that and I’m truly happy for them
I do wish though… that for once something good could happen to me in that area
Oh well, we press on
Reminder: the Golden Joysticks more than any other awards show weighs public voting heavily

I think Terry works because they
1) didn't make Batman less capable to make room for a new guy, he grew old
2) Bruce is his mentor/handler
3) Terry isn't just instantly great, he's flawed & has to improve
4) It's far enough in the future for him to have his own rogues gallery
