“Trump Derangement Syndrome” is a fun little concept.
There absolutely are normal Trump decisions that make people madder bc they dislike him so much. But if you’d said two years ago, “Trump will threaten to bulldoze the Kennedy Center unless his name is on it,” you’d have been hospitalized for late stage TDS.

Just so non-golfers know... No 80-year-old on earth with a pancake swing and the chip yips has ever shot TEN SHOTS under his age. Club members let him win because nobody wants to get audited the rest of their lives.

Mel Brooks is 100 years old today! Many people think that Mel is my father. He isn’t. But what he is is one of the great comic minds of the last 100 years. Happy birthday Mel, from your fake son.

The Venn diagram of Americans who can--plainly and in public, without fear or favor--state the following two truths is depressingly small:
1. None of the attempts on Trump's life were staged.
2. Biden won the 2020 presidential election, which was not "rigged" as Trump claims.

The extent to which residents of Minneapolis are more civic, courageous, and patriotic than business elites, conservative luminaries, and Republican members of Congress, is really striking. It’s a lesson not to be forgotten. It’s one that would not have surprised Hubert Humphrey.

I have always avoided talking about politics on this account. But this is my breaking point. I can't say nothing while ICE is going around executing people in broad daylight in my city, blocks from where I live.
They murdered a second person this morning. And I don't want to hear for a second that "he had a gun." Republicans' entire thing is about being pro-2A, that people have the right to be armed against a tyrannical government. Now a textbook example of government tyranny unfolds before you and your immediate response is to take their side? It makes no sense.
There were at least 7 federal agents on top of that man. IF he was armed, the video appears to show that he was disarmed before the shots were fired. There is absolutely zero justification for his killing. This is yet another example of these ICE agents being untrained, hate-filled escalators who are seeking out this kind of violence. They aren't making our community safer, they're making it 1000 times more dangerous.
Everyone can agree that violent criminals, of all backgrounds, should be prosecuted and jailed. A conversation can be had about immigration policy. But this isn't working. This has to stop. ICE has to get out of Minneapolis.
