.@flexport CEO Ryan Petersen on the Charlie Munger advice he passes on to AI founders: "The key to success is dumb competition."
"One of my favorite things that Charlie told me at one of these dinners at his house was when I told him about Flexport, he was like, 'Oh, you have a great business because the key to success is dumb competition.'"
"I always say that to people who are building AI companies. What a nightmare. Your competitors are literally AI geniuses."
"You should find a way to apply AI in some other domain so you're not competing with the smartest people on Earth."
"It's like trying to be a boxer. You might beat all the people in your local gym, but at some point you're gonna run into somebody who's gonna kick your ass."

we’re excited to share that we’ve raised $20M (from Accel, Index, & Emergence) to build the 'ai-native Slack' you've all been craving
TLDR; ando is a team messaging platform built fresh, from the ground, up for a world where agents act as real collaborators alongside us.
we have teams using us across 15 countries, and spanning industries like software, financial services, real estate, & more
request access if any of this resonates 💌
When the AI takes over, there will be signs (i’m way more romantic).
i just found out my bestfriend broke up with her sf boyfriend over the weekend
i asked what happened
she goes "i found out he had an ai agent managing the relationship"
turns out the thoughtful texts, the check-ins, the good morning messages, the conflict resolution, dinner date plans...all automated
my friend was emotionally attached to a cron job

We raised an $18M Series A.
The most valuable data in the world is also the most sensitive, and most of it is unstructured. Clinical notes. Chat logs. Support transcripts. Contracts. Today it sits locked away because no one can safely strip the identity out of it at scale.
That's the problem we started Integral to solve, and today we announced our $18M Series A to expand our reach. 🎉
We began in healthcare, having anonymized billions of patient records, DICOM studies, and genomics files, where the stakes for privacy are highest. But the same wall exists everywhere: every company is sitting on proprietary, unstructured data it can't safely use to train and fine-tune AI models, across finance, insurance, legal, and beyond.
This round lets us tear it down by expanding our de-identification pipeline to handle far more unstructured contexts.
Excited for what's ahead, and we're growing the team to build it. Come join us: lnkd.in/gv3U5NxC

Opus 4.7 is the first model to get it correct at all, and it's reliable- 5/5 in the API with max thinking. (It's sometimes accurate but unreliable in chat; seems to sometimes sabotage itself with the 'adaptive' thinking, and get it right only if prodded to think more.)
Javokhir goes on a heater and somehow is still only #2 by Elo… in Uzbekistan.

1/4 LLMs solve research grade math problems but struggle with basic calculations. We bridge this gap by turning them to computers.
We built a computer INSIDE a transformer that can run programs for millions of steps in seconds solving even the hardest Sudokus with 100% accuracy

this is so fucking wholesome
guy used AI to save his cancer-ridden dog by sequencing its DNA and creating a CUSTOM cure.
the tech behind this is fucking awesome (well done @demishassabis and the google team):
- used CHATGPT to sequence dogs DNA discovers mutations
- ran the mutations through Google’s Alphafold (AI protein sequencer) which CREATED A CUSTOM VACCINE TO TREAT THEM.
- treated dog and reduced tumour by 50% in WEEKS. dog is alive and well.
- this is the 1st time AI has been used to create a custom vaccine for a dog (and it worked)
- dude is now working on similar vaccines for humans using AI!
2026 is definitely the year we see AI change personalised medicine in a HUGE way
so sick

Expectation: the age of the IDE is over
Reality: we’re going to need a bigger IDE
(imo).
It just looks very different because humans now move upwards and program at a higher level - the basic unit of interest is not one file but one agent. It’s still programming.

tmux grids are awesome, but i feel a need to have a proper "agent command center" IDE for teams of them, which I could maximize per monitor. E.g. I want to see/hide toggle them, see if any are idle, pop open related tools (e.g. terminal), stats (usage), etc.
I've built infrastructure at @okta , Expanse, and @PaloAltoNtwks . The lesson every time: get the foundation right and everything above it compounds. Get it wrong and you're fighting plumbing forever.
Behavioral health has the worst plumbing in healthcare. Providers stitch together 6-10 systems just to admit a patient and get paid. The data doesn't flow. The automation breaks. Clinicians drown in admin. Patients wait.
Today we're launching @EaseHealth out of stealth.
One unified platform. CRM, EHR, RCM — single source of truth with AI embedded in every workflow. Not bolted on. Built in.
$41M from @a16z. Co-founders @zachcohen25 (ex a16z) and Steven Gold (built Refresh, sold to Optum for $1.15B).
62M Americans had a mental illness last year. Half went untreated. The bottleneck isn't demand. It's infrastructure.
We're fixing it.
