Yesterday, she was smiling at her phone, typing like her life depended on it.
“Who are you texting?” I asked.
She looked at me innocently. “Nobody.”
“Then why are you smiling like somebody just proposed to you?”
She laughed. “Are you jealous, baby?”
“Me? Never. I’m just concerned about the mental health of whoever thinks he has a chance with you.”
She burst out laughing. “You’re so insecure!”
I shrugged. “Maybe. But at least I’m handsome enough to be insecure in style.”
She put her phone down and moved closer to me.
“Tell me three things you love about me,” she whispered.
“Your face, your body, and the way you look at me when you want something.”
She gasped. “You’re terrible!”
“Yet you’re still sitting on my lap.”
She smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck. “Maybe I like terrible men.”
I leaned closer. “Then you’re in luck. I’m available for a lifetime subscription.”
She kissed my cheek.
“Baby, you’re lucky I love you.”
“Lucky? My love, if loving you were a job, I’d work overtime without asking for a salary.”
She laughed so hard that she nearly fell off my lap.
Then she suddenly became serious.
“Would you still love me if I gained twenty kilograms?”
“Of course.”
“Fifty?”
I paused.
She narrowed her eyes. “Fifty?”
I pulled her closer. “Baby, I’d love you at any weight. But please, let me know when you’re about to sit on me. I have dreams to live!”
She hit my chest, laughing.
“You’re such an idiot!”
I kissed her forehead.
“Your idiot, though.”
She smiled. “Unfortunately.”
I pretended to look offended. “Unfortunately? Fine. I’m leaving.”
She grabbed my shirt immediately.
“Where are you going?”
I grinned. “To find someone who appreciates me.”
She pulled me closer and kissed me.
“Found her yet?”
I smiled against her lips.
“Unfortunately, yes. She’s very beautiful, very annoying, and completely owns my heart.”
She whispered, “Good. Because I wasn’t planning to return it.

My boyfriend’s younger brother suddenly started treating me better than my own boyfriend did. At first, I thought he was just being caring, until I discovered why he always wanted to be alone with me.
Boyfriend: “Babe, my brother will be staying with us for a few days. I hope you don’t mind.”
Me: “Not at all. He’s your brother.”
Boyfriend: “Thank you. Just help me make him feel comfortable.”
I agreed without thinking twice.
The first day, he barely spoke to me. He greeted me politely, ate dinner, and went straight to his room.
But the next morning, everything changed.
I woke up to find breakfast already prepared.
Me: “Wait, who made this?”
Brother: “I did. My brother told me you usually skip breakfast when he leaves early.”
Me: “You remembered that?”
Brother: “I pay attention to things people think nobody notices.”
I laughed and thanked him.
A few days later, my boyfriend forgot our anniversary, but his younger brother surprised me with a small gift.
Me: “You shouldn't have done this. Today isn't even your anniversary.”
Brother: “I know. But I heard my brother promise you something special today, and I didn't want you to feel forgotten.”
I was touched, but something about his words bothered me.

That evening, I decided to ask.
Me: “Can I ask you something?”
Brother: “Sure.”
Me: “Why are you suddenly doing all these things for me?”
He looked at me for a moment before answering.
Brother: “Because I don't think my brother appreciates what he has.”
Me: “He's your brother. You shouldn't talk about him like that.”
Brother: “You're right. Forget I said anything.”
He walked away, leaving me confused.
Later that night, my boyfriend received a phone call and rushed out of the apartment.
Boyfriend: “I need to handle something urgent. I'll be back tomorrow morning.”
Me: “Tomorrow morning? What's going on?”
Boyfriend: “Please, don't ask too many questions. Just stay here with my brother.”
The moment he left, his brother came out of his room and sat beside me.
Brother: “There's something you need to know about him.”
Me: “What is it?”
He reached for his phone, opened a message, and handed it to me.
Brother: “I promised myself I would never interfere in his relationship, but I can't keep this secret anymore.”
I looked at the screen, and my heart began to race.
The message was from my boyfriend.
And what I read next made me question everything I thought I knew about the man I planned to marry.

I got home from work on a Thursday evening and saw a thirty-day eviction notice taped to my front door.
I had lived in that house for eight years. My rent was always on time, I took care of the property, and the landlord had never raised an issue with me.
I called him right away.
“Is this because you’re selling the house?” I asked.
“It’s a private matter,” he said. “You have thirty days to move out.”
I asked what I had done wrong, but he ended the call.
I figured he wanted to sell and didn’t want a tenant making things harder. It was frustrating, but I started searching for another place.
Three days later, my neighbor stopped me outside.
“Are you really leaving?” she asked.
“Apparently. The landlord wants the house back.”
She hesitated. “Someone came by recently asking about you. He said he was representing you in a property transaction. He even showed me documents with your signature.”
I just stared at her.
“What documents?”
“I’m not sure exactly. He said you had agreed to move out. I assumed he was a relative.”
I had never given anyone permission to represent me.....

People who lack functional CCR5 receptors carry a genetic variation known as the CCR5-delta 32 (CCR5-Δ32) mutation, which deletes 32 base pairs from the CCR5 gene. CCR5 (C-C chemokine receptor type 5) is a protein on the surface of immune cells, such as T lymphocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells, that acts as a primary co-receptor for HIV-1 entry.
NB: Worldwide, HIV-1 accounts for approximately 95% of all global HIV infections, while HIV-2 makes up the remaining 5% or less.
How does the Mutation Affects HIV Resistance?
1. Homozygous (Two Copies):Individuals who inherit two copies of the mutated gene (one from each parent) do not place functional CCR5 proteins on the surface of their immune cells. Because standard strains of HIV (R5-tropic strains) rely on CCR5 as a co-entry key, the virus is locked out, conferring strong natural resistance to infection.
2. Heterozygous (One Copy): Individuals who inherit only one mutated copy still produce functional receptors, meaning they can still contract HIV. However, they often experience delayed disease progression and lower viral loads if they do become infected
Therefore it is both pure biology and luck. Biology of not expressing CCR5 and luck of being among those who inherited 2 copies of mutated genes that do not place CCR5 (entry points of HIV ) on your immune cells.
