Simantic is the simulation layer that lets engineers and AI agents test and validate firmware at the speed of software. Frontier AI models have made generating firmware code cheap and effortless, but testing still depends on manual hardware debugging, expensive equipment, and software designed more than a decade ago. Simantic is modernizing firmware testing with simulation built for the era of coding agents. w/ @ycombinator @shong0504 @enough_ahnaf

Had coffee with Sofia from @Lovable yesterday. Got so many great insights on what worked and what didn't when she was growing the community. It was also cool to hear that they are now leaning towards B2B. Is B2B the only way to survive for startups now?🥲

TIL that USB traces on DeskHop are different lengths on purpose, to make up for the unequal traces on the Pico boards.

DeepPCB guys cooking again!👨‍🍳👨‍🍳👨‍🍳
Swapping a part on someone else's open-source board is quick in the schematic. The layout is the real job We took DeskHop from @ChihYang04's @boardrepo, swapped USB-A for USB-C. @DeepPCB routed only what changed in 6mins

Every tech company is making its own PCB badge, so I asked Opus 5.5 to make me one and open-sourced everything. I'll be ordering it from JLC soon.
We have over engineered the heck out of the Supabase Select Badge and if you're watching from home you won't miss out. Go to badge.select/ to learn how to program your badge and participate in the contest

@boardrepo is now partnering with Simantic (YC F26) to bring simulation into every circuit boards in BoardRepo. simantic.com is the simulation layer in embedded systems. Test and validate firmware before the hardware exists, and let your AI agents make decisions based on data, not assumptions. All in simulation. BoardRepo users will soon be able to test firmware on circuit boards before any boards get manufactured. So excited to work with @shong0504 & @enough_ahnaf !
