Fiat money is a government permission slip to slowly steal from you, and every central bank on earth runs one. Here is how the mechanism works. Governments spend beyond what taxation can cover. Rather than default honestly, they instruct their central bank to create new currency units, purchase government debt, and inject the proceeds into the financial system. As of late 2026, the Federal Reserve held $7 trillion in assets, most of it acquired through this process. The new dollars dilute every dollar you already hold. Your purchasing power falls. Nobody ever announces the heist. Mises called this the "crack-up boom," the terminal phase where currency creation accelerates until the public loses confidence entirely. Germany 1923. Zimbabwe 2008. Venezuela throughout the 2010s. Each collapse followed the same script: politicians facing fiscal pressure chose the printing press over honest accounting. They always do. This also causes another problem: Prices carry information, specifically the relative scarcity of goods and the preferences of millions of people acting voluntarily. When a central bank manipulates the money supply, it corrupts that signal. Entrepreneurs invest based on distorted interest rates, build factories the real economy cannot support, hire workers for projects that only pencil out at artificially cheap credit. Then the correction comes, and you watch your portfolio, your job, your neighborhood absorb the damage that Washington's balance sheet avoided. Sound money, whether gold or a hard-capped digital currency, removes this lever from political hands. Governments hate this removal because it strips them of the power to inflate.

if you’re branded, you can raise $100M+ for your seed round in a single week if you’re unbranded, you may struggle to raise even $2M why? 80% of VCs add negative value, and 80% of VCs are lazy. they ask claudette to pull a list of who’s on your team, then sit in IC enumerating your wunderkammer of IOIs and Ivy Leagues and ex-lab folks, and everyone gets starry-eyed, enchanted by the billions branded teams surely guarantee. enchanted by the thrill of throwing massive checks whilst doing hardly any DD, because, certainly, that’s irrelevant, and these people will figure it out, right? right. and so you run wild with the money. you store it in a grotto and show up at the doorstep of the neoclouds, the governments, the enterprises, with an unlimited rope of credit tied to an origin no one can quite explain some of the branded people will make it & rule the world. some of them are thrilling, brilliant, hilarious people, and for that, I’m happy to support and stand in awe of their success. but they shouldn’t be the only ones allowed to make it. many of the most talented & ethical visionaries I know are stuck in dead ends despite wanting to found, because they are illegible to capital. the unbranded genius has depressingly jagged societal intelligence. she is more awake to the rules of people games than the branded cadre, and yet she is never given a seat to play the unbranded genius is an opsec purist who only chats on signal the unbranded genius is invited to more exclusive parties in her field than many of the branded people, and yet VCs underwrite her network as irrelevant the unbranded genius is told to curate a public persona to seem smart to the salesmen of money. but she has an aversion to being perceived, so she operates almost entirely offline, where no one can ever know who she is or what she’s up to in the valley of automation, she is alone in the unquiet darkness. I extend a branch to pull her up, but every time, without fail, it snaps, and I’m forced to watch her fall into the valley’s maw. she gets chewed up and spat out, but she’s a genius and she’s strong, so she reassembles the bits of herself. but every time she does, it’s groundhog day yet again. and so i'm left asking: how do we brand people without logo stacking? I can’t keep watching unbranded geniuses fall. it’s becoming too much for the soul.

The entire left-right political spectrum is a lie designed to keep you arguing about the wrong things. Both "far left" and "far right" share one defining feature: the total subordination of the individual to collective power. The Soviet Politburo murdered kulaks for holding grain. The National Socialists murdered Jews for holding capital. Different scapegoats, identical mechanism: the state deciding who deserves to exist and on what terms. The conventional model places maximum government on both ends and freedom somewhere in the center. This model is geometrically incoherent. A line with tyranny at both poles and liberty in the middle tells you nothing about the actual variable being measured, which is the concentration of coercive power. The only axis worth mentioning runs from zero coercion to total coercion. Mao's China and Hitler's Germany sit centimeters apart on that axis. Venezuela under Maduro and Mussolini's Italy were structurally identical in their economic controls, even as their ceremonial aesthetics differed wildly. What passes for "far right" in media coverage today often means nationalism plus market skepticism, which is state capitalism with a flag. What passes for "far left" means internationalism plus market abolition, which is state capitalism with a committee. You get robbed either way; the paperwork just differs. The prefix "far" does no analytical work. It signals emotional distance from a speaker's preferred center, nothing more. A government that controls prices, conscripts labor, and criminalizes dissent is totalitarian. The color of its flag is insignificant.

President Trump’s tax, trade, and regulatory policies are clearing the way for companies to build, invest, and hire in America. We have added 72,000 manufacturing jobs so far this year, after losing more than 200,000 in Biden’s final two years. Blue-collar manufacturing workers are also earning more: their weekly wages are up 3.5 percent after adjusting for inflation since President Trump took office.
America’s manufacturing sector has expanded for nine consecutive months, with 72,000 manufacturing jobs added in 2026 through September. President Trump’s economic agenda is rebuilding America’s industrial base.

Her project, titled “Fire Suppression System Using Acoustic,” utilizes low-frequency sound waves (around 30 Hz) to create a vortex of air that disrupts the oxygen supply feeding small flames, effectively putting out the fire without using water or chemical residue—this is useful for small fires. It is a matter of historical fact that the two groups most prone to murdering or enslaving Christians are Communism and Islam. The Democrat Party is now under the control of a marriage of convenience between literal Communists and Islamic Jihadists. This unholy alliance is popularly referred to as the "Red/Green Alliance." If you are an American Christian, know this: the Red/Green Alliance wants you dead, or enslaved, or bankrupted, or persecuted so badly that you will not be allowed to live freely in American society. They hide behind the lies of benevolence of seemingly harmless masks like Talarico. Those masks will fall as soon as they achieve power. There should not be a single adult Christian staying home for the midterms. Christians must vote like their life depends on it, because it does.

Victor Davis Hanson: It's Disgusting What Elissa Slotkin Did It was Barack Obama who paid Christopher Steele to compound and collate an entire fake dossier that Donald Trump was communicating with Vladimir Putin. It was the Biden administration who, just three days after Donald Trump said he was going to run for office again, brought into the White House Nathan Wade, an obscure Fani Willis boyfriend who was a prosecutor meant to go after Trump in the Fulton County indictment. Now, Elissa Slotkin is hunting down young people who want to help a president that they agree with as if they are the conspirators. “She’s an idiot. She has no memory of all that.” Watch the FULL episode with @VDHanson here: youtu.be/YsC8YckQ4ho?si=Vy4S…

Latest from Promethean Action author Michael Carr on why Promethean Action is a step ahead! President Trump has gotten control of the FBI, shut down USAID, brought Greenland and Venezuela into close association, brought more than $21 trillion in foreign investment into the United States, and on and on... He has been turning the ship of state toward the Golden Age. But there's still one bastion of the British Empire which clings to its power to subvert America's resurrection: the Federal Reserve (FED).
No! Lending money doesn't automatically cause inflation. Oligarchs fear any change (but especially progress) more than anything else. So, they turn their Zero-Growth fetish into economic theories that undermine progress. Read about it here:

I think the startup world has made fundraising way too much of a full-time job. Founders spend six months pitching 100 VCs, tweaking decks, chasing introductions, and answering the same questions over and over. Then they finally raise $5M, celebrate for a week, and start preparing for the next round. At some point, when do you actually build the company? I’ve seen founders who are incredible at raising money but surprisingly average at running a business. Fundraising is an important skill, but it’s not the business. Your job isn’t to convince investors you’re building something valuable. It’s to actually build something valuable. The best fundraising strategy is having a business investors can’t ignore.

🚨 WE COULD BE ENTERING THE ERA OF DIGITAL AND BANKING LOCKDOWNS Two Warnings Just Came Today That Should Terrify the World. 🇮🇳 First, Indian Prime Minister Modi openly warned today that modern wars can destroy nations by targeting their economies and banking systems through cyberattacks. 🇯🇵 Meanwhile, Japan’s GMO Internet Group CEO reportedly warns of an internet collapse following claims of a massive cyberattack involving fraudulent trades across 70+ brokerage and FX platforms. Even Japan’s @yutokanzakireal had warned weeks ago that they’d Time the Economic Collapse where AI and energy crisis can take the blame. G7 countries announced that they are now preparing for a major AI cyberattack on the banking system while G7 governments and central banks have agreed to run simulated AI attacks to test how they would respond to a major incident. Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, JPMorgan, and Wells Fargo detected unauthorized AI agents accessing customer accounts and attempting to act without user instructions. Scott Bessent openly talked about a “grand economic reordering” on the scale of Bretton Woods and how AI and stablecoins will be used to grow out of the $40 Trillion debt. The internet and the banking system will be shut off for the transition to the new stablecoin economy? Imagine banks freezing, trading platforms shutting down and internet access being restricted overnight while blockchain is offered as the solution. A new surveillance system is being opened without naming it CBDCs. This is why @DNAOnChain is about to be the biggest privacy solution in the new on-chain financial system. Private digital identities. Zero-knowledge proofs. A financial system where you can prove who you are without exposing who you are. A future of complete on-chain financial privacy and almost nobody is paying attention. During the crash, AI and cyberattack will be the excuse in how they restrict people’s ability to transfer funds to cover their margin calls. Be prepared for the new financial system. It’s always followed by an engineered crisis.

Dear god it’s bad news in downtown Chicago for commercial real estate. Massive buildings are being completely abandoned. Taxpayers across Cook County will be forced to pick up the property tax burden. We need a property tax cap.
55 E. Jackson Blvd. Chicago, Illinois is up for sale after the lender that sought to foreclose on it decided abandoning the building was smarter than seizing it. 452,186 SF entirely vacant except for ground floor retail leases with Potbelly and Starbucks. Bids are expected just below $25 per square foot, or roughly $11M. Leasehold interest sold for $64M in 2019. "Ready Capital and Marc Realty terminated the ground lease to help prepare the building for a sale, according to CBRE. Proceeds from a sale would be placed in escrow, and parties involved in the property will be able to file claims for that money through the court, according to CoStar News." The city filed a lawsuit against the building's owner over building code violations in an effort to stabilize the structure. In response to the city's legal action, a Cook County judge appointed CNR Advisors to serve as the receiver for the property. CNR Advisors authorized the sale and hired CBRE brokers to put the property on the market. -Crain's Chicago / CoStar #CommercialRealEstate

Here's the conclusion to close the series: That's why I believe people have finally understood the big picture. The origin of the problem in the West, and really across the whole Western world, was never just bad economics, bad politicians or bad luck. It was that mental communism had infiltrated everything. The lie had infiltrated everything. Into our schools, our media, our institutions, our budgets, our vocabulary. A civilization built on truth, property and individual responsibility slowly started running on a borrowed operating system that promised everything and delivered decline. But a lie has one fatal weakness: reality doesn't negotiate. You can print money, but you can't print prosperity. You can rename crime, but people still get robbed. You can forbid words, but you can't forbid people from seeing what's in front of them. Sooner or later the gap between the narrative and reality becomes too wide to hide. That's the moment we're living in. In Buenos Aires, in Santiago, in Bogotá, in La Paz, and soon everywhere else, people are looking at the gap and refusing to pretend anymore. The lie couldn't last forever. And it's collapsing everywhere at once. What comes next, I believe, is a world far more respectful of what actually works. Free markets, because they are the only system that rewards people for serving each other. Private property, because a man who owns nothing is a man who can be told anything. The natural order, because human nature isn't a design flaw to be engineered away. Respect for legitimate authority and for order, because freedom without order is just chaos with better marketing. And beauty, because a civilization that stops building beautiful things has already stopped believing in itself. I know how this sounds. For years, being optimistic about the West felt naïve. Not anymore. The people who lived through communism warned us that the system runs on lies and dies of truth. They were right. And truth is coming back. I've rarely been this optimistic about the future.

Another proof? Look at South America. It's the live experiment, running right now in front of us. For two decades, the continent was the showroom of 21st-century socialism. Chávez, Maduro, Morales, Correa, Kirchner, Petro. Endless promises, endless crises, endless enemies to blame. Then voters turned. Argentina elected Milei, who inherited 211% inflation and brought it down to around 34%. Bolivia ended nearly twenty years of socialist MAS rule. Chile elected José Antonio Kast with 58% of the vote. Ecuador kept Noboa. Peru moved right. And Colombia, after four years of Gustavo Petro, elected Abelardo de la Espriella. Look closely at Colombia, because it's the clearest case. Petro's flagship policy was "Total Peace": negotiating with guerrillas and narco organizations, treating armed groups as political partners. De la Espriella did the opposite. Within weeks he ordered a "total offensive" against the ELN guerrilla and the FARC dissidents and ruled out any negotiation with what he calls narco-terrorism. Daily arrests. Strikes against the Clan del Golfo, the country's largest cartel. Same country, same army, same cartels. Different will. That's the question that should keep you up at night. If crime can be confronted the moment someone actually decides to confront it, why wasn't it? My answer: because the problem was the business model. A left that solves problems makes itself unnecessary. Its entire apparatus, the parties, the unions, the NGOs, the consultants, the international conferences, the careers built on "managing" poverty, violence and inequality, lives off the problem continuing. Solve crime and you lose the fear that justifies your programs. Solve inflation and you lose the state that controls prices. Solve poverty and you lose your clients. I'm not saying they plotted it in a back room. I'm saying every incentive points the same way, and people follow incentives. A movement that lives off chaos will never be in a hurry to end it. Its status, its funding, its standard of living depend on the problem never going away. And that's what is collapsing today. Across South America, voters looked at decades of problems that were "managed" but never solved, and they fired the managers. Brazil is the last big piece. If it follows, the five largest economies on the continent will all be governed from the right. The lesson for the rest of us, for Americans voting in a few days, for Europeans watching their countries drift: a problem that is never solved is not always a failure. Sometimes it's the product. Free people solve problems because they have something to lose when problems persist. Collectivists manage problems because they have something to lose when problems end.

Borr Drilling jack-up has sunk off Gabon. The Prospector 5 went down late on Saturday at the Dussafu licence, off Mayumba. It was being prepared to drill for BW Energy. 115 people were on board, and 110 are accounted for. Borr says the rig suffered a “punch-through” during preload. One of its legs broke through the seabed, and the rig lost stability. The rig hadn’t started drilling. BW Energy shut production at the nearby MaBoMo facility as a precaution, and no spill has been reported. Gabon has set up a crisis unit and ordered an investigation. The search comes first. Questions about the rig and the market can wait.

HISTORY LESSON ON YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD: Just in case some of you young whippersnappers (& some older ones) didn’t know this. It’s easy to check out, if you don’t believe it. Be sure and show it to your family and friends. They need a little history lesson on what’s what and it doesn’t matter whether you are Democrat or Republican. Facts are FACTS. Up until the 1980's, Social Security cards expressly stated the number and card were not to be used for identification purposes. Since nearly everyone in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the "NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION" message was removed. Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. His promises are in black, with updates in brackets. 1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary [No longer voluntary], 2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual Incomes into the Program [Now 7.65% on the first $90,000, and 15% on the first $90,000 if you’re self-employed], 3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year [No longer tax deductible], 4.) That the money the participants put into the independent ‘Trust Fund’ rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program [Under Johnson the money was moved to the General Fund and spent], and 5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income [Under Clinton & Gore up to 85% of your Social Security can be taxed]. Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month — and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to ‘put away’ — you may be interested in the following: Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent ‘Trust Fund’ and put it into the general fund so that Congress could spend it? A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically controlled House and Senate. Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding? A: The Democratic Party. Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities? A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the ‘tie-breaking’ deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the US AND MY FAVORITE: Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants? A: That’s right! Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments! The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it! Now, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away! And the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it! If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe changes will evolve. Maybe not, though. Some Democrats are awfully sure of what isn’t so — but it’s worth a try.
