It's so selfish to enter someone's life, see that they're loving, cheerful, and good, and then decide to ruin their mental health because you haven't dealt with your own issues. You saw their light, you saw how genuine they were, and instead of protecting it, you drained it.

A very important tip I’ve learnt is that you should never create pattern for somebody out of your pocket! It’s why I don’t believe in the whole “girlfriend allowance”
I have agberos that help me find cabs sometimes, I give them money but in an irregular pattern, sometimes they find cars for me and I don’t give them money intentionally, then on a random day, I give them money when they’re not even helping me! I do this because the moment you create a pattern for people out of your pocket, they become entitled, they start to look forward to it and if you don’t, it becomes a problem! I do it with friends and family too!
