Happened to my dad too, but flight from MNL to Doha. Ground staff insisted that he change from his rubber shoes to leather shoes which he doesn’t have at that time. They were refusing to let him board if he doesn’t change to leather shoes. @qatarairways too.
Airport staff are just … oppression everywhere. When I was boarding my flight to Doha, some guy was in front of me. He was traveling for his masters. The ticketing officer checked his valid student visa and then was now questioning him.

This doesn’t make sense because he used the same rubber shoes from Doha to MNL and had no problem.

I really asked my 7mo baby, “what problem are you trying to solve?” #productmomager

Today was the day. I “slept while the baby slept.” It was amazing. 😅

🇹🇷 At last, we have the day's savior! An infant who was found 128 hours after the earthquake. Feeling content after a refreshing shower and tasty meal🤍

Anyone else sometimes plan their outfits thinking it’s what they’ll be stuck with if a dystopian event occurs while you’r out?

Either mine was onomatopoeia or I’m remembering a Hey Arnold episode
Everyone remembers the word that got them kicked out of the elementary spelling bee, right? Mine was yacht.

So, as if I have all the time in the world, I decided last Monday to diy a Nativity scene out of (homemade! So much time??) clay. After almost completing the parents, I realised that this will not be as easy as I thought. How impt is the baby anyway?

An angel has joined their ranks. It’s more a cherub in stature and with a hair reminiscent of Edna Mode, but I’m sure the Incredibles will agree she’s an angel. May I please stop here and leave out the sheep and donkey?

An engineer one lamented to me: “we’ll never fix things, because a PM won’t ever prioritize tech debt over a feature. My response? “You’re right.” 🧵
Tech Debt is one of those things that make sense to engineering, but to leadership it sounds like “we’ve created a mess over the years that slowed the product, we did nothing to fix it, and now we need to spend *even more* time and people on fixing it”. Not a winning argument.

I recently came across data on who we spend our time with over the course of our lives. The insights are simultaneously inspiring and depressing. Here are 6 graphs everyone needs to see:
