Shout-out to @madebygoogle and the @GooglePixel_US for screwing up my return label and issuing threats that I go find the parcel. I don't know why I'm surprised, but @Google customer experience continues to be horrendous. Say what you will but @AmazonUK does customer service.

This will be the last time I buy anything from the Google store. I have been burned far far too many times at this point.

If you take anything away from the Deadlock situation, let it be this: You can't just unilaterally impose "off the record" on a journalist. It's an agreement! readergrev.com/p/deadlock-pr…

This call out really worked. It’s been brilliant to meet so many enthusiastic early career journalists! I always have time for questions so do keep em coming 💪
It’s tough out there for young freelancers, but the lifestyle is worth it. I’d love to share some tips I’ve picked up in three years of freelance journalism. Early career journalists or audio producers let’s have a virtual coffee, happy to answer any Qs ☀️ [email protected]

With redundancy coming, time to shoot my shot: If y'all know of any freelance reviews, news, features or guides work going, please let me know. Would love to do mock reviews as well! I have a decade of experience across many outlets and I genuinely love this industry. DMs open
Gfinity Digital Media has been hit with redundancies. We're still finding out who's staying and who's going but, from what we've been told, my entire team is going. This will be a thread of everyone who works under me and why you should hire these amazingly talented writers

In his interview with @PaulBrandITV Rishi Sunak says that he had to go without “lots of things” as a child growing up, including “Sky TV”. Will do little to convince voters he can relate.

Krishnan Guru-Murthy crucifies Mel Stride on abolishing National Insurance for self employed and on pension KGM, "You're getting rid of class 4 National Insurance contributions for the self employed" MS, "Yes" KGM, "So how do self employed qualify for a state pension?" MS, "You can still have a system where you have nil rate National Insurance and have that as a contribution to state pension" KGM, "So self employed people will just get a state pension for free now?" MS, "Well, they will make their contribution to the economy in the normal way"

We have debated water company scams and their pollution of our beautiful natural spaces, streams, rivers, and beaches SO many times that I can't bear the limp excuses any more. Water privatisation has failed. #RenationaliseWaterNow!
Given the choice between water bills going up £150 on average next year, or water companies failing @GreenJennyJones says "let them fail and we can buy them for 50p" Shareholders have had £2bn a year since privatisation. We have got sewage in rivers.
