There is no hell like mistakenly ending up on a personal loan inquiry list. I am not trying to get a personal loan. But 12 voice mails a day for the past five months believe differently. I now assume I must have an enemy who signed me up for this.
The @HenricoCitizen turns 25 today. I wrote about it here: henricocitizen.com/25-years-…
(I celebrated by mulching my yard while my baseball team gets officially eliminated from the playoff picture and my football team's QB gets injured, effectively eliminating them as well.)
To recap: A blown 30-point lead and a blown 15-point lead in less than a week. 10-28 in the last two seasons in the A-10. Two straight awful seasons. Three of the last four. But sure, let's just keep the same leadership. This is insanity.
So apparently to get real snow, you now have to live at the beach or in North Carolina? What in the world even is this winter?? Ridiculous.
The University of Richmond: where the coach of your alleged flagship sport can go 9-29 in his career against your in-town rival and still keep his job. As an alum, this is inexcusable and pathetic. I'm tired of excuses.
This had to happen, but I still can't believe it actually did. Welcome home, JV!
Breaking: Star left-hander Framber Valdez and the Detroit Tigers are in agreement on a three-year, $115 million contract, sources tell @JeffPassan.

If you like snow, there’s really no more frustrating place to live than here. You could make a living taking the under on literally every accumulation prediction. Without fail.
There's really no bigger joke of a franchise in all of professional sports than the Washington Wizards. Just decade upon decade of complete organizational incompetence. Not sure how they have any fans left. If you tried to be this awful for so long you probably couldn't do it.

FOLEY FOUNDATION WARNS VIOLATIONS OF PRESS RIGHTS THREATEN PUBLIC TRUST AND DEMOCRATIC ACCOUNTABILITY
The James W. Foley Legacy Foundation is deeply concerned about the arrest of independent journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort. These arrests follow the search of journalist Hannah Natanson’s home earlier this month and seizure of her confidential newsgathering equipment.
Journalism is not a crime, and a free press is the bedrock of democracy. Journalists must be allowed to do their work covering newsworthy events and government actions without fear of intimidation and/or arrest. In addition, the public has the right to be informed; violating the constitutional rights of journalists deprives the public of essential information and weakens trust in democratic institutions.
The Foley Foundation will continue to support brave journalists—including those covering protests, public events, and government actions—through our safety resources that enable journalists to do their jobs without fear.
#JournalismIsNotACrime
Regardless of anyone's political affiliation, this is outrageous and dangerous. You cannot arrest journalists for doing their jobs or because you don't like what they are reporting. Unconscionable.

Brandin Cooks had the ball. He lands. He’s touched.
Catch.
He landed with the ball.
What an insane decision to call that an interception.
