Venice AI, Experiential Labs, Maple AI, thank you for being transparent.
No gating the models, no collecting emails. I release these models for free, often with @jordanschenck also pitching in thousands of dollars to provide compute.
It’s sad that we’ve reached a point where simply asking for public acknowledgment of your work is even necessary. I’ve seen far more instances of people not receiving proper credit than instances where they do.
If you’re one of those people who aren’t properly crediting the people behind open source work, please don’t ruin it for the rest of those who do. And I don’t mean just in my case, but in general.
Open source is how EVERYONE benefits, and undermining the trust within that ecosystem is detrimental to us all. Stealing work and refusing to give credit makes you no different from OpenAI or Anthropic.

Pairs great with @NVIDIARTXSpark devices like the @surface Laptop Ultra!

Here's a snippet of the @OsaurusAI iOS app that I'm currently working on. It's being built entirely in UIKit with no traces of SwiftUI for maximum performance and backward compatibility.
Excited to bring the Mac app to mobile with Day 0 support for the new iPhone Duo!

Building on the frontier.
Local models. Your Mac. Electrons you already paid for.
Thanks for calling local models the frontier.
Intelligence per watt is improving fast on its own curve. Soon local models will match what feels like frontier today.
When that happens, there’s an enormous opportunity: tools, infrastructure, and support for people building businesses on the electrons they already paid for.
Labs like @ornith_ , @Alibaba_Qwen , @liquidai , and @nanbeige are already pushing this forward with almost no revenue model.
We’re building the infrastructure for it. Reach out if you want to learn more.

I don't think people realize how capable Local AI has become.
People compare them to the frontier models and conclude they are useless. That's like comparing a Honda Accord to a Bugatti Chiron.
Not everyone needs a hypercar, and not every task needs a frontier model.

Flint 40B. Running locally. Native Swift. No Electron.
Introducing Flint, @Recursive_SI’s first model: a fast local coding model built with our automated research system, the Eureka Machine.
• Best-in-class fast local coding
• Up to 2x faster than comparable models: 125+ tokens/sec on a MacBook Pro, 150+ on RTX Spark
• Built from scratch in under 4 months
Private, unmetered intelligence on your own machine. Open weights available now on @huggingface, run it locally on your favorite framework or try it for free on @opencode or @pidotdev.

Congrats to the Ornith team. Ornith-1.5-122B is a monster.
It’s in Osaurus on day one. Running on a Mac, no cloud, no subscription.
One prompt. It built a flying car game.
Aloha!🌺 Meet Ornith-1.5-122B: No Tradeoff Between Strong and Fast
Stronger. Faster. Leaner. Ornith-1.5-122B delivers frontier-level capabilities with exceptional inference efficiency. With superior instruction following, stronger task decomposition, and deeper understanding of real-world workflows, it achieves state-of-the-art performance among open-source models of comparable size, while running on a single NVIDIA DGX card!!

@NVIDIARTXSpark we’re building for @OsaurusAI for Windows (currently in beta) and have been making our own models tuned for specific tasks and our harness. (huggingface.co/OsaurusAI)
How can we work together to make sure RTX Spark users have the best local AI experience possible?

Today we release 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟸.𝟻-𝟸𝟺𝙱-𝙰𝟸𝙱, the largest 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟸.𝟻 family member. It is an efficient local model for laptops and PCs to work through multi-step tasks inside popular agent harnesses.
> 24B total parameters, 2B active per token
> Context expanded to 131K tokens
> A 128K-token vocabulary
> 33T pretraining tokens
> It is a reasoning model
> Very easy to fine-tune and customize
> Performs competitively with Qwen3.6-35B-A3B, a model with ~50% more total and active parameters, on agentic and tool-use tasks.
> Open base and post-trained weights on @huggingface 🤗

MiniCPM-V 4.7 35B-A3B, fully offline in Osaurus.
🚀 Introducing MiniCPM-V 4.7, our new open-source MLLM series!
Advancing the Performance–Efficiency Pareto Frontier.
It brings strong multimodal capabilities to iOS and Android devices with extreme efficiency.
Two new models:
🔹 MiniCPM-V 4.7 35B-A3B — Bring SOTA performance to local devices with newly introduced LES (Lookahead Expert Scheduling) technique, a new milestone of on-device multimodal AI.
🔹 MiniCPM-V 4.7 1B — Lightweight, efficient multimodal AI. Easier to deploy.
⚡ What's new?
SOTA performance: Competitive results across 34 benchmarks spanning multimodal understanding, STEM reasoning, OCR and long-video comprehension.
Fast on-device inference: LES predicts and preloads expert weights to reduce inference stalls, boosting 5× speedup on iPad Pro M4 (16GB) with byte-for-byte identical outputs. It enables MiniCPM-V 4.7 35B-A3B to achieve 17+ tokens/s on iPad Pro M4 (16GB) and 13+ tokens/s on iPhone 17 Pro Max, while costing only 3GB memory 🤯
Efficient visual processing: 4× and 16× hybrid visual token compression. Even at 16× compression, 35B-A3B scores 90.4 on OCRBench, 5.2 points ahead of Qwen3.6 35B-A3B.
Easier customization: We introduce Self-Replay Fine-Tuning, a simple way to customize new target capabilities at low cost while maintaining general performance.
Broad hardware support: Day-0 adaptations for Apple, Intel, AMD, Arm and Rockchip, with many more platforms supported through FlagOS!
Download, deploy, and build something we haven't imagined yet. 👀👇

I'm not playing around. Since releasing the beta yesterday, I've already added:
- Persistent memory
- Agent sandboxes (using WSL Containers)
- Automations (folder watchers, scheduled tasks)
- Bug fixes
And there's lots more coming.
Osaurus Beta for Windows has support for WSL Containers on day one of its GA.
Watch a local model safely experiment with python within a sandbox to generate a Mandelbrot fractal.
Fully native, built for Windows with WinUI, C#, and .NET 10
