$LITE fell 19% on a strong quarter, and the reason is $MRVL.
The $1,132 deal price was never fixed. Marvell is paying 4.5 MRVL shares for each LITE share, no cash.
MRVL is down 32% since Oct 28, so those shares were worth about $771 at Monday’s close.
LITE closed at $684, another 12.7% under that, with closing targeted for 1H 2028.
The quarter itself beat, with the next-quarter sales guide about 8% above consensus. But LITE now trades mostly on MRVL’s price, not its own numbers.
