Years ago I joined a Discord called Oddkey, tied to Todd McFarlane (@Todd_McFarlane) and Steve Aoki (@steveaoki). I became a community leader there and loved it. It was a place to talk comics with other collectors, and big creators dropped in to talk to us. When the NFT craze died, so did the community, and Todd officially ended it this year. I'll be honest, it felt like a betrayal to me. Maybe I'm wrong, that's just how I feel. I still love the Spawn Universe, and the friends I made there are the best part I kept.

Art Spiegelman, the guy who made Maus, just admitted he used AI for the first time. It's the cover sticker on the 25th anniversary edition of In the Shadow of No Towers, his 9/11 book. His reason, per Publishers Weekly: "I wanted it to look like an old engraving, and I was lazy." Credit where it's due: he was upfront about it. But "I was lazy" is a rough reason coming from one of the most respected cartoonists alive, on a book about 9/11 of all things. Creators like Evan Dorkin and Victor Santos are already pushing back hard. Eurogamer, who scored it 3/5, still called it "a fantastic example of how to rewrite battle mechanics to suit a full-fat RPG." RPG Site (8/10) said it's "easily one of the best turn-based battle systems we've seen in the last decade." 🎨 The HD-2D art. IGN (8/10) says it "sets a new benchmark for HD-2D visuals," and Eurogamer called it "the best-looking HD-2D game I've ever played." 🔮 The Visions system and the nostalgia.
