Intrigued by my bio, or by something I said? My DMs are open, and I'm happy to answer sincere questions about my faith. No need to be afraid to offend me - I know that most people disagree with me about God! I used to be in that camp too. (more on this: meiravsblog.wordpress.com/ta…)

This should be made into a game... Get people to guess the 10 worst current conflicts in the world and most of them will say Gaza (which is currently running in 12th place)
I'd like to put this on a Times Square billboard

Interesting! I know my husband is perfectly comfortable driving at night, while I find it super stressful.
More women than men don’t like driving at night. Turns out there’s a physiological reason.Men have more rods in their retinas which gives them better night vision. Just another under researched difference in our biologies. somethingtosay.london/uncate…

The third weirdest thing about this line of reasoning is that Palestinians don't want to be Israeli citizens and vote in Israeli elections. 1/
She knows that the actual issue is the 6 million Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank who can’t vote. She just thinks you’re too dumb to know.

Arabs living in Palestinian controlled territories (Area A & Gaza): We hate Israel, we don't want to be part of Israel or have anything to do with it. We'll hold our own elections, with no Jews allowed. (They haven't held one in more than twenty years.) The same people: the Jews won't let us vote in Israel, it's apartheid! Meanwhile Arabs living in Israel vote every four years as equal citizens.

Current status: survived a group social event in the actual morning, have had one snooze and one afternoon coffee and am fully expecting to nod off again any minute now. I am, for those who might be new here, an introvert night owl. Difficult time etc. T&P.

"What's election day like in Israel?" Oh you know, pretty normal. Probably the same as every other country.

Just seen a post on a WhatsApp group where someone actually asked who we're all wanting to win today's elections Glad to see the only response was an appropriate emoji reaction: 🤐

Bedouins travelling to the voting booths 🐫🐎🫏 I love my country 😍
So far, Israel had the highest voter turnout since 1969. Folks are riding out of the desert on mules and donkeys to cast their vote.

At last I found out - ok, I could have googled, or asked ChatGPT I suppose 🙂
Replying to @Britannica
"GPT" stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer, the underlying artificial intelligence architecture the model uses. Found on phones and gomputers everywhere.

When you check out a local company you'd never heard of and the first two glowing reviews are word for word identical 🤔🤔🤔

המהפך. 1977. הייתי טינאייג׳רית שגדלה בבית חירותניקי אז התחושה היתה די חגיגתית.
What is the oldest political news story you can remember? For me it's Joe Biden being selected as Obama's VP.

We’ve reached a point where mass sections of the “anti-racist” Left excuse, belittle or justify attacks against Jewish children in the UK because of an unfounded accusation of genocide 2000 miles away.

As always @jk_rowling nails it. “It’s true, of course, that trans activism doesn’t impact all women negatively. In fact, the more privileged you are, the less it tends to affect you, and the more it might benefit you. Aside from an avalanche of death, rape and torture threats, it hasn’t noticeably affected my life. Nor does it hurt wealthy women who repost the vogueish mantras while sitting in dressing rooms guarded by private security guards. It doesn’t hurt women in the upper echelons of media, publishing and academia, who don’t need a changing room at work and who feel a snobbish disdain for working class women who don’t want to strip off in front of heterosexual males who’ve ‘identified’ into the women’s changing room. Trans activism doesn’t hurt headline-hungry female politicians whose attitude to women’s rights is ‘whatever is good for me personally’. On the contrary, trans activism has been good for those women. It’s fashionable, and keeps them popular with their progressive tribe, and costs them, personally, absolutely nothing.”
