Collectively and individually we were miles off it tonight. The frustrating thing is as bad as we were Oxford were poor as well and you felt at 0-0 the game was just ticking along and we'd get a comfortable draw, two silly goals to give away though, very poor night #readingfc

Cameron Brannagan is a nasty bit of work, just wants to fight everyone at any opportunity he gets or get up in players faces and be an antagonist #readingfc

Out of possession part of our game has been solid and structured, but with the ball a lot of improvement needed to create and offer a threat #readingfc

Stokes is really struggling tonight and has looked well off it to be honest, Dorsett with a couple of iffy moments trying to bring the ball out of the back line and to be honest a goal in the game looks like coming from a mistake from either side right now #readingfc

A game very low in quality, both teams look cautious. Oxford with a load of sideways and backwards possession but not threating. But we've also lacked any composure when we've had the ball, been very sloppy with it and not created anything meaningful either #readingfc

Big game tonight, aside from it being a local derby, it's 2 top 6 teams looking to push on and solidify their positions. For us another chance to keep improving our away form and back up our excellent home results. Up the Ding! #readingfc

Marriott back is obviously great, bit surprised Knight is on bench after Plymouth. Dorsett is a worry for me but he's better at CB than LB. Between Danny K and Williams is 50/50 as they've both been poor and Williams started last week so can't argue too much with that #readingfc

Lane really will be a big miss if Williams and Danny K play like they both did today, thought they were both really poor if I'm honest #readingfc

Paudie was good again today, in fairness the right style of game for him where he could get in a battle with Pepple. Knight was solid as well, for me Malife was excellent again, having a really good season so far #readingfc

The game was very hectic but we also lacked composure in the final 3rd where we tended to rush & make the wrong choices. Ref didn't help the game what so ever blowing up for every tiny bit of contact. Point away from home against a top 6 side isn't bad and we move on #readingfc

Draw was probably a fair result, neither side showed enough quality in the final 3rd to win it. A shame because we've been very good going forward this season, but today it didn't click at all. Defensively we were solid though, the back four stood up to Pepple well #readingfc

Dorsett at left back has gone back to looking like a fish out of water, given the ball away in shocking positions a couple of times now. Dokes with another very good performance so far, probably out best player that half #readingfc

Bim Pepple is a thug as well #readingfc

Very chaotic and frantic half, but also very even as well neither team could really get on top for long periods. Lisbie should have scored after going around the keeper but you feel we'll get another chance or two in the 2nd half #readingfc

Obviously great to have Marriott back available though, fingers crossed it won't be too long for Earthy and Ward as well #readingfc

Such a shame to see Paddy Lane is out for a while, he's found his form this season and has looked like a new signing, brings a lot of energy as well. He'll be a miss over the next couple of months, hopefully Williams and Danny K can work together to be decent cover #readingfc
