Full time here at the SCL. A point, but disappointing last 25 minutes as the energy totally sapped out of us after the equaliser. It’s not a bad point in isolation, but certainly see us play better than that this season by a long distance. #EPR3

Must win game today imo, get ourselves back on the winning track at home, get ourselves to 10 points and hopefully then firmly into the top half for us to stay there the rest of the season. We’ve played well the last few games, but got to turn that into a result now today.

ONCE AGAIN our chance comes when one of the midfielders takes a gamble and plays the ball through the middle. Fraser clipping it through between players to Wing, who plays it into Kelvin. Just a tiny bit of ambition and you get rewards. That’s what makes it infuriating #readingfc

Both of our goals tonight came from Wing playing a simple, low, positive pass to the feet of one of our playmakers. Not lumping it up aimlessly or passing it backwards. I really wish our entire philosophy was more geared to playing through teams rather than over them #readingfc

Seems the plan has been to lean more into going direct - hence going 352 and pairing Patton with Keane Not worked though - long passing just hasn't been good enough Telling that our best moment came from a pass through the lines, into Doyle in space. More of that please And dealing with long balls coming our way hasn't been easy. Burton really testing our back line
