What do you want solved in your work?
Comment on Fletcher's post and we'll build it for you!
Today we're officially launching @typedotcom, the shared space for your team's best AI work.
Teams need a central place to build apps, skills and automations together. Not swarms of agents.
Our ambition with Type is to be the last piece of software your team will ever need.
To build this, we've raised $4m from @LererHippeau, @haystackvc, @MatchstickVC, and angels from Slack, Github, and Ramp.
So what does Type do?
→ share work from Claude chats into a collaborative space
→ switch harness or model any time
→ manage integrations with granular permissions
→ a central place to deploy apps and automations together
→ build a self-learning company brain
→ use your existing Claude or ChatGPT subscription
Companies like @rayconglobal, @Intelligems and @trueclassictees are already running tens of thousands of successful agent jobs that forecast revenue, manage inventory, answer support tickets, and a lot more.
We're blown away every day at the custom tools and automations our customers are building.
What's something you haven't yet been able to solve or automate in your business? Tell us in the comments and we'll respond by building it for you in Type!
"Why wouldn't I just use Claude?" is the first thing IT and engineering teams ask us.
Our take: you should use Claude. It's great at building automations.
Bt running them across a whole company causes some problems:
→ They live on personal accounts. When they leave, automations stop running.
→ Nobody can see what's running.
→ They fail quietly. A scheduled job hits "session limit" and nobody notices for a week.
→ Every step is a model call, even the ones 10 lines of code could handle.
So keep Claude. Just don't run your company's automations on someone's laptop!
Yesterday's to-do list for half of tech:
[ ] Which of our services run PHP?
[ ] Which secrets lived in Railway?
[ ] Where else did someone paste that same key?
[ ] Who already rotated what?
These aren't hard questions, but for many the answers were spread across different tools and humans.
The teams that moved fastest yesterday were the ones who had a centralized place where the answer already lived.
When you have your whole team, agents, tools and automations in one place, these issues are pretty easy to handle.
We're going to see more of these incidents--make your life easier before the next one!
A type.com automation watches our production logs.
On Monday it flagged a burst of blocked requests to admin-only endpoints. All denied, but the logs didn't say who sent them.
So it wrote a fix to record the user and org on every denied request, opened the PR, passed CI, and merged it.
~90 minutes from spotting it to merged, with no human review.
The agents can ship this kind of change on their own!
We collected the most popular @crustdata skills in our Skills Library:
(steal them in the comments)
1. ICP Builder: turns LinkedIn URL into a persona + ICP
2. Sales Prospecting: rank accounts by fit + timing, w/ signal behind each
3. Account Research: sourced account plans, org charts, battlecards
4. Meeting Prep: score inbound leads + write pre-call brief
5. Sales Outreach: cold emails built on real, dated signals per buyer
Welcome to the new public skills library on type.com.
It's a growing collection of skills you can steal for any job of function. Add them with one click and use with any AI agent.

We've added ~30 new native integrations to type.com 🔌
Pick a tool and your agents can use it alongside everything else you've connected in Claude, Codex, or Slack.

type.com has a built-in browser for your agents and automations.
Run the cloud version that keeps working after you shut your laptop, or the local one that's fast and responsive.
You can now import your passwords from Chrome, save individual passwords, or use a shared team vault like 1Password.
That means type.com can log in to websites and get work done without you!

I made a slightly longer video on how to use personal agents (like Instinct or Muse) to get work done.
Personal agents are shockingly good at figuring out what you're asking and how to get there. In your personal life, you have just a couple key data sources.
But for work, you have dozens of tools, multiple inboxes, and a collection of evolving context scattered across a group of people.
When you centralize all of that for the personal agent, it feels like magic!
We added a new way to get started using Type.com within Claude Code or Codex. Just copy the text on our homepage and paste it in!
Build on the go 📲
Keep your threads going without your laptop, whether you're making ad creatives on bad plane wifi or handling invoices on a commute.
It's a great weekend to ship!
I have open-sourced an agentic commerce AEO tool (SEO for agents)
You drop in any shopify product page URL and the skill finds terms and builds an interactive artifact that shows you how competitive your brand is.

Opus 5.5 + Sol and Luna 6 are now available in type.com.

Today we're launching Smart Auto-Reply for Slack threads.
After bringing Type into a thread in Slack, you'll no longer have to keep tagging it to get a response. Type will figure out when it needs to reply (and when it doesn't).
