Why should the President appoint the INEC Chairman?
This is fundamentally wrong.
It makes the Commission dependent on the very person they’re supposed to hold accountable and makes credible elections impossible.
The President should NOT be appointing the INEC Chairman.
As long as INEC depends on the President, credible elections in Nigeria are a fantasy.

Bwala I thought you research well before you talk , oh sorry I forgot you are a spokesperson that means you are paid to talk and defend your principal . Did you listen to yourself countering Obi’s claim and subsequently calling him chief of disinformation a title that fits you very well . You never you asked yourself , who devalued the Naira? You also said Obi is nobody but your prayer is to make sure he does not contest, you are so afraid of him right ? You tried to put fire between Atiku and Obi so that Obi will withdraw and Atiku will be floored by APC .
Please no matter how sweet you tongue is, the Nigerians themselves feel the pain on their skin so you can’t wish it away . Talk is cheap Mr. Bwala.

Nigerians cannot read or do research for themselves and that is why dolt like Bwala will fabricate anything and you fools will believe him. This is a man whose mouth is being greased with money by Tinubu that he condemns and you the poor and hungry once will believe him. I pity una.

The intellectual lethargy exhibited by the presidential aides in our country is indeed concerning. Is this the caliber of service for which taxpayers are footing the bills?

I feel, for the most part, all of us strive to be good people. I do not believe that anyone would purposely set out to be a bad person. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm naive to believe this. But I do believe that when situations and circumstances are set up in such a way that pressurises someone, and if their moral compass doesn't work very well, then there is a high chance that they will give in. Mr Bwala, you have caved into evil, into rotteness. You have sold your soul and integrity for crumbs and position. You have destroyed what makes you a man, your deepest truth.
You cave in by giving your excuses that what you do is right, and you have legit reasons to be deceitful and betray the trust of people around you and even their loved ones. You, as a weak-minded man lacking in morality, will definitely teach your children to do the same. That it s it okay to betray their conscious and other for selfish reasons while neglecting the truth.
I think you underestimate the ripple effect of your immoral act and abysmal behaviour and feel powerful and superior by trading truth for position. Well, do not be deceived. Karma will certainly judge, and posterity will always remember. – at Ynysmaerdy, Wales

I never knew how big this hotel was until yesterday.
Christ!
Right in the heart of Enugu.
This is the biggest hotel in the entire South East.
360 rooms
Chinese construction company doing what they know how to do best — build with precision.
The architectural design is literally shaped as “ICC” — mad!
Now think about what this means for Enugu:
🔹The jobs it will create
🔹The businesses it will support
🔹The impact on tourism and hospitality
🔹The boost in local spending
This hotel isn’t just a building — it’s an employment machine.

When I saw Barr. Kenneth Okonkwo's @realkenokonkwo write-up yesterday, as always, I wanted to quickly discuss it with PO @PeterObi to get his thoughts. However, when I called him, he was in Awka as the keynote speaker at a large Rotary Club-organized meeting of the installation of Rotarian Prof. Nkemdidi AU Nnonyelu. Later that night, he was in Lagos. This morning, he went to Owerri for a scheduled meeting with Governor Alex Otti. When I tried to reach him again, he was on his way to another meeting before heading to yet another engagement outside Lagos. He later called me back this evening around 4 PM on his way out of Lagos.
While speaking to him, I expressed my worries and concerns about the departure of Bar Kenneth Okonkwo, mentioning some key points. He calmly responded, saying, "Mo, Kenneth, Balami, and others remain my beloved younger brothers, who, in due time, will realize the virtues of humility and patience in trying to do things in a peaceful manner.
In Nigeria, he continued, we have become all too accustomed to rascality and forcefully doing things, making noise, and bulldozing our way through, even when we are wrong. This behavior is often mistakenly seen as a measure of power or greatness. However, that yardstick must not continue to define us, because that is not the society we want to build. The society we preach is one that values doing things the right way, with integrity, patience, and perseverance, even if it takes time. We must shift our mindset and recognize that true greatness lies not in loud boasts or aggressive actions, but in quiet confidence, humility, and a commitment to excellence. By doing so, we can create a more just, equitable, and prosperous nation for all."
He said, "Mo, we all joined the Labour Party about 18 months ago. We spent the first year on campaigns, elections, and court proceedings. And now, I am expected to become a superman, scattering everything and achieving instant results." He continued, "I appreciate the patience and understanding of the Obidients and plead with them to let us be the example we want to see in our society. This is not the first time I have faced such challenging situations. In fact, this has been my trajectory in life - I am actually energized when people think I am weak and try to walk all over me for doing the right thing."
"Mo, all I can assure you is that doing the right thing is not a sign of weakness. Humility and patience are virtues, not weaknesses. It is a long journey, and I am committed to it. I encourage the #Obidients to do the same - let us walk this path together, with faith and perseverance. We will get there, and our efforts will be worth it in the end."

Some of us have since emancipated ourselves and are fully aware that politicians are not doing the people any favor by holding public office.
Instead it is the politicians that are so favored and privileged to serve the people.
Stop twerking for Politicians. Liberate your minds and Free yourself from political slavery.
You deserve better as a Nigerian. So hold your leaders accountable.
To make Nigeria work, we all have a part to play.
The most unpatriotic Nigerians are those of you that have chosen to be loyal to politicians instead of the Country especially when the decisions they make affect the people negatively.
Do well to commend them when they do well but also be the first to call them to order when they do wrong by the people. Now listen to a voice of reason and raise your heads up from their behinds and start doing better.
Love always ❤️
