Eisenkot’s dilemma: 1. His failed “change coalition” will be crushed at a second election if they use the Jihadi-supporting Joint List to “stick it to the right” and temporarily get their Bibi scalp. 2. If he doesn’t, but also doesn’t partake in some form of unity coalition, Netanyahu, from the comfort of the Prime Minister’s chair, will run out the clock and call new elections in May, in which he will do better, since he lost 5% of the right-wing votes to Winter’s and Hendel’s failed start-up parties. Also, events in the region—war with Iran, and perhaps peace with the Saudis—will likely play to Netanyahu’s favour. 3. So the smart play for him is to offer Netanyahu his party in a unity coalition, but he comes with a very weak hand, since he won’t be able to bring the leftists under Golan with him, or Liberman’s party (whose entire career is focused on unseating Netanyahu). And what would be in it for Netanyahu? Netanyahu is aware of points 1 and 2 above. He could simply play out the clock, let the negotiations fail, blame Eisenkot, and come back with the extra few seats he needs in May. Would he betray his reliable hard-right and Haredi allies for what could be a short-term coalition? Unlikely. The problem is that when someone has the choice of who gets to extort them, nobody gets to do it. And that is the definition of power. Optionality. All Eisenkot’s options are bad, all Netanyahu’s are good.
Yair Golan—former IDF deputy chief of staff and leader of the “Democrats”, a hard-left party formed of the cumulative mergers over decades of a series of far-left, even Stalinist groups into Israel’s once-hegemonic Labor Party—wants his erstwhile allies in the failed (for it has indeed failed) “anti-Netanyahu anti-Haredi change coalition”, Eisenkot, Lapid, Bennett and Lieberman, to use these Hamas sympathisers of the Joint List, who here dedicate their results “to Gaza”, to oust the Zionist right and Netanyahu, even as the IDF battles to mop up the remnants of Hamas in Gaza. This eventuality would be Netanyahu’s fever dream—a martyrdom at the hands of a left-Islamist alliance he could paint as traitors—to be followed inevitably by a Jesus-like revival after three months. They failed in their attempt to build a “change coalition” because they didn’t have a positive message. “We hate the Haredi and Netanyahu and we are gonna stick it to ’em” isn’t enough to win a majority. It also won’t be enough to justify to their electorates at the next election—which will be very soon if Yair Golan’s plan wins out—why they allied with actual enemies. This is a choice they actually can’t make anyway, since a number in their 48-ish-sized bloc won’t go along with it. So it’s just moot, and the merely performative act of floating it is damaging to their cause. But amazingly, this man who, but for a speech comparing IDF soldiers to the Third Reich on Memorial Day, would have replaced Eisenkot as IDF chief of staff in 2019, is no great strategic thinker.

It is not a declaration of war. I’m not sure when both the right and the left decided to start throwing these terms around but it’s irresponsible, dangerous, and not productive in the least. I watched @TheRealKeean talk about going to war, now I’m seeing Grand Chief Stewart Phillip do the same. This is legislation, and it must reflect the expectations of voters - that’s how democracy works. British Columbians voted for the BC Conservatives and part of their campaign was to repeal it, and citizens voted for it. If after an election, you don’t like the result and the policies - you shouldn’t start viewing that as a declaration of war. It’s democracy in action. If my members voted for a new Chief, with a different vision, I don’t get to call that an act an act of war - I respect the results and seek to work with the new leader on their path.

Sex offenders, men who beat up women, and other serious violent criminals getting reduced sentences because of race. This is wrong. There is no excuse. PERIOD. Everyone should follow the same laws & do the same time for the same crime, regardless of race.

The best person for the job should get the job. Period. Today we tabled legislation that would ensure hiring and promotion decisions in the public sector are based on merit, not DEI policies. Mandatory workplace training will be relevant to the roles and responsibilities of the employee, instead of mandatory DEI sessions. Every Albertan deserves a fair shot, and fairness means everyone competes on the same terms.

Only Israeli citizens can vote in Israeli elections, and Palestinians are NOT Israeli citizens. Palestinians in East Jerusalem were offered the opportunity to obtain Israeli citizenship. They declined. Gazans are (AGAIN) NOT Israeli citizens. And the last time they voted in Palestinian legislative elections was in 2006, when Hamas, a designated terrorist organization, won. It's really not that complicated.
Israeli "democracy": - 500,000 West Bank settlers can vote, but not the 3M Palestinians under occupation - 230,000 Israelis in occupied East Jerusalem can vote, but not the 350,000 Palestinians under their rule - The fewer than 2M Palestinians left in occupied Gaza cannot vote

Bye DEI in Alberta.
‼️NUKES FIRED!! --- Alberta just tabled Bill 33 and it NUKES DEI and wokism across the public sector. The Justice Statutes Amendment Act, 2026 (No. 2) bans preferential hiring and promotion based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other “personal characteristics” in government agencies, schools, universities, municipalities, and Crown entities. Banned outright: Ameliorative (DEI) hiring and promotion programs Mandatory training on DEI, unconscious bias, or cultural competency Any required training that dictates political, historical, or social opinions or pushes identity-based moral superiority and preferential treatment Merit is back. Ideological loyalty tests are out. This is the most BASED law of 2026!

The left doesn’t just fight culture wars in schools — it insists that anyone who objects is the one starting a culture war. BCTF President Carole Gordon just told teachers that a Conservative majority should leave them “disappointed, scared, or deeply concerned,” Want classrooms focused on academics instead of ideology? You’re not raising a legitimate concern about what belongs in public schools. You’re a bigot attacking vulnerable people. That’s the game. Define the other side’s position as illegitimate in advance, then claim any pushback is hate.

Having now examined the Daily Groyper's evolving coverage of Israel, Turkey, and Qatar, the inverse trend becomes strikingly clear: 🔸️Share of articles critical of Qatar's government: 22.9%, then 11.9%, then 0%. 🔸️Share of articles critical of Turkey's government: 11.2%, then 2.6%, then 0%. 🔸️Share of articles critical of Israel: 0.8%, then 2.3%, then 14.5%. As the Iran war began, criticism of Qatar and Turkey disappeared. Criticism of Israel went up nearly twentyfold. If you see this and chalk it up to an innocent coincidence, I don't know what to tell you.

The idea of BC as the 'Left Coast' is completely wrong. Propaganda and the last decade of NDP rule have thoroughly fooled people. It is time to undo that narrative, too. We are not Canada's California. Here, the NDP are the insurgents, not the natural party of governance. For most of BC’s history, politics has been dominated by anti-NDP coalitions. Indeed, Social Credit sat well to the right of the Alberta and Ontario PCs. The Reform Party dominated in the 1990s, and federally, the Conservatives can pull level with or ahead of the Liberals in any given election.
If lefty British Columbia voted conservative for the first time in a hundred years, maybe there’s hope for all of Canada to reject the red-green alliance of socialists and Islamists who control the country. Canada’s decade-long economic decline and explosion in uncontrolled migration and antisemitism needs to end.

A new poll on immigration from the Environics Institute finds that first-generation Canadians and non-white Canadians have stronger opinions against immigration than white Canadians and third-generation+ Canadians. 63% of first-generation Canadians and 60% of non-white Canadians think too many immigrants are not adopting Canadian values. 57% of first-generation Canadians and 54% of non-white Canadians think that many refugee claimants are fake.

Gentle reminder that the whole reason the Trudeau government had to buy the Trans Mountain pipeline was because John Horgan was threatening to illegally blockade it, which probably would have resulted in BC being sued into utter oblivion.

Following their historic landslide victory, the BC Conservatives have secured a majority government. Yet beyond the legislature, the NDP continue to control nearly every public body, from ICBC to BC Ferries, filling key positions with their own appointees. Without holding government, the NDP still command the state apparatus. They have never been the province's 'natural governing party', but if allowed to maintain their institutional footprint, they will come to be seen as the norm rather than the exception. If the @Conservative_BC intend to undo the last decade, they must purge these partisans, shrink the government payroll, and reform the public sector. Policy is essential, but political power is decisive, and without broader institutional control, the new government will be left managing a hostile bureaucracy. My latest for @WDiminishment - Link Below.

🇫🇷 A student rioter at Honoré-de-Balzac high school near Paris has called for the police to be killed “in the name of Allah.” “There are only ten of them. In the name of Allah, we can kill them all!” he shouted. Other young rioters happily cheered.

In France, one of the leaders of the riots is Palestinian activist Yazan Majdal Abu Sammour. In Italy, the main organizer of the riots is pro-Palestinian activist and Arab nationalist Youssef Siher. What are the odds?! I’ve been saying this all along. All these far-left movements in America and Europe are directly coordinating with the terrorists in Gaza. The pro-Palestinian movement is a terrorist movement at its core that seeks not only the destruction of Israel, but the entire Western civilization.
