every voice agent demo I listen to: impressive for about 2 seconds, then you can tell. they keep adding features but the voices still have that same weird texture. they are just too smooth.
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

The Decisions API is now generally available! To celebrate, I had Codex reimagine a very important app… 🌭

I just solved "Robotics Engineering" education with Opus 5.5 + /colorfigures skill no need to spend $1000+ on a starter kit to learn what a resistor does, just visit my interactive site: • 13 real boards: Arduino Uno, L298N, Raspberry Pi 5... • build part by part: pick & place, reflow, solder, plug in • break them on purpose: reversed caps pop, chips smoke, LEDs burn out send the skill to your Claude: > april-zhu.com/colorfigures try it free, no sign-up ↓

OAI snatched up an absolute rockstar @ashokaraj_
We’ve acquired Orchestra Bio, a platform that helps biopharma teams coordinate the complex process of drug development. Together, we’ll build on Rosalind, our AI models and tools for life sciences research, to streamline those operations and help new treatments reach patients sooner. Welcome @ashokaraj_ and team! openai.com/index/openai-to-a…

Best comes last! thats kids mind controlling their parents at its best.
Have your kids make a pitch deck when they want something

this kid got some serious vibes. chapeau!
I reverse engineered Pocket and made it 10X better. Right now: the app is full of ads, the microphone is low quality, it constantly misspells peoples names, and has no agentic features. I changed that.

One of the most innovative approaches personal agents. approved by my wife.
Wabi 2.0 is live! personal agents are one person, one chat. but the parts of life that matter run on more than one person Wabi is an agent you use together. you talk to it, it does stuff, builds the apps you need, and anyone can join the thread - your partner, your best friend, the preschool moms groupchat school changes pickup time → Wabi updates the family calendar, everyone sees it. a show you’d both love → Wabi finds a night that works, gets the tickets. the trip everyone keeps talking about → Wabi picks the dates, builds the itinerary, books it go start a thread with your people 👇

For once this is a super high value prompt!
If you're tired of 3rd parties sharing your email address here's a prompt to give your Grok @bot (or any other agent): Remove my personal and contact info from B2B contact-data sellers and people-search brokers (e.g. Apollo, ZoomInfo, RocketReach, Lusha, ContactOut, Seamless AI, Hunter, Clearbit, Cognism, Kaspr, SignalHire, People Data Labs, LeadIQ, Adapt io, UpLead, plus any others common in my country). 1. Ask me for my name, the emails I use, and where I live, then look up each provider's current official opt-out route on their own site. 2. Write a short deletion and opt-out request that cites the privacy law that applies where I live (e.g. GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or another US state law, PIPEDA, the Australian Privacy Act). Request deletion of all my data, an end to any sale or sharing, deletion of linked profiles, and written confirmation. 3. Show me the emails as drafts from my own email account. Send them only after I approve. 4. Fill out web forms for providers that don't accept email. 5. Give me a list of what was sent, what's still pending, and any confirmation links I need to click. 6. Offer to repeat this every quarter. Any other ideas welcome in the replies, tired of getting this spam.

How do we make it more interesting for humans on the other side of an agent to talk to them?
We're in a weird in-between period when it comes to consumer voice agents. An agent can now reliably call a company or doctor's office on my behalf...but the human on the other end may hang up on it! Can't wait until all businesses adopt voice agents on their end 😅

Hot take: every big tech co, corporate and VC should have someone whose only job is to use every new product that ships. Ideally we execs as well. Not read about it. Use it. Living in the future has never been this cheap … and likely this profitable.
Oki's first batch sold out! Thanks for all your support!

Which Tennis players coach startup founders? If none of the all-stars they should! @rogerfederer you up for it?
Tennis players got to be the most resilient athletes. The best players only win 53% of points. The game is so competitive. The tiniest mistakes could swing a whole match and mental resilience is the ultimate differentiator not pure skill. E.g: Be Qinwen Zheng:
• Olympic gold. First Asian ever.
• Career high World No. 4.
• Elbow surgery.
• Come back too early.
• Lose in round one. Again. And again.
• Fall to No. 160.
• Play qualies just to get into the US Open.
• Go down 0–5 to Keys. Then to Swiatek.
• Win both. Get into the us open quarterfinals.
• Win the China Open as the first Chinese at home • claw your way back from #160 to #22 Suffer through more than 13 months … everyone is down you you … haters call for your retirement … Defeat all the haters ✅ ….
