i am writing to help others on this journey, know that it’s possible to build up yourself in your personal life, to the degree that all that’s ever required in your professional life, is that you show up.
showing up becomes your only prerequisite to achieving excellence ..
Wow.
People who worship simplicity are empty inside btw. They make things with no life in them, made for money, made for a name, made just to be made. Meanwhile, the happiest people you will ever meet are the ones who take two hours to write to the people they love. They keep their feet steady on the ground. They pass the salt with care. They sit in the backyard, watching the trees, doing nothing. They read stories that make no sense. They learn words they can't yet pronounce, so that when they feel something deeply, they can say it beautifully. We shouldn't kill complexity. We should advertise it instead. To find what's true, we should crawl through ten books like a worm, slowly, page after page, until our heart goes quiet and rests in what it believes.
one afternoon, during the lockdown,
i was outside having a chat with two neighbors.
granted, one of them and myself had just met for the first time.
the other neighbor introduced us that afternoon.
and then we stood there for another half hr or so having the most beautiful conversation ..
perhaps 2020 was a time of a massive portal.
i recall some of my last words were,
“it feels like GOD painted a picture and we walked right into it”.
they couldn’t agree more ..
life is beautiful y’all .
the last few years have felt like something of a rude awakening ,
but the day will come when the Lord says, and you will know:
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.”
YHWH, Thank You for giving me new eyes.
when the right season comes and you find yourself praying this, you know its all thanksliving
this is about the 2nd time in my 3+ decades that i have stopped to Thank GOD for this righteous gift. its silver in the hands of the silversmith
patience turns every challenge into a blessing in disguise.
.. this is why “the patient dog eats the fattest bone”.
patience is alchemy.
this is so beautiful.
Life is the greatest video game known to man
You can build a business and make millions of dream dollars
You can meditate and open up to the secrets of the universe
You can hop on a plane and land in a city where you don’t speak the language
You can jump out of a plane and touch grass
You can have conversations so good that all sense of time disappears
You can fill up notebooks with crazy ideas and will them into existence
You can walk out your front door and explore your home city like a tourist
You can forget yourself (and all your worries) in a sun set
You can exercise yourself to physical exhaustion and get a natural high
You can create mini you’s with the one you love and show them the world
You can laugh away the pain in the final moments preceding the death of your video game character
What a game. What a life.

recognize when you need to marinade.
and you’ll stop being so hard on yourself.
like @visakanv once said, we waste years, by not being able to waste hours!
sometimes you just gotta soak in life .. marinade. 💅
main character energy demands serious side quest-er energy!
be devoted to your solitude, make everyday a vision quest.
drive your spaceship into the rainbow.
and taste it.
i find that there’s one v. special superpower i have,
and that’s betting on people. and betting on things.
i believe it’s time now, for me to turn it inward as well.
time to bet on myself .. like MJ in rare form.
the both of em ..
think about it.
what’s yours?
what does it take to create a language?
if humans, together, could create 7,000 languages, humans, together can do anything.
i find language & linguistics to be among the foremost technologies of humanity.
everything starts with language, Logos.
.. where Logos .. implies Creation.
they say a question is really a quest, with a positive charge, as in an ion .
well, if one were to track the true History of the earliest languages, what would they discover?
