“Money is a mediocre marker on time and value. The instrument itself isn’t broken, but…Our ability to properly value ourselves and our neighbors is broken as a society. So in my opinion we suffer as a global population from bad evaluations of each other and our organizations. We overvalue distribution above production and people aren’t willing to bite the buck anymore on a 20-50 year vision because of the inherent uncertainty in the world.
We have built a dystopian future in our minds and most are certain that will play out so infrastructure and children suffer the most here because that stuff isn’t throw away in an economy but takes spend that shows no initial return to the “market”
So as much as I love markets, we as a society give gdp and growth too much emphasis. It’s like the guys with big muscles that can’t really lift. It’s all vanity for sure… and made up of strategies employed to keep people asleep to these types of conversations. Good on you for starting it.
I always say… everything’s just made up… certain thoughts have just gained more authority than others over time… but I don’t think it’s a fatal thing that will end bad. It just is what it is at times 🤟”

Backed by nothing but confidence and inertia.
That is a radical break from the history of money, where value was anchored to something real. Gold. Land. Energy. Labor.
We just lived through decades of cheap money, lazy policy, and reckless financial engineering. That era is ending.
What comes next is pure game theory.
Which country blinks first and re-pegs itself to hard assets like gold, commodities, or energy.
Which currency signals credibility.
Which system restores constraints.
When that happens, the ripple effects will be seismic. Capital re-prices. Markets re-rank. Power recentralizes around credibility, not liquidity.
At the end of the day, value is not intrinsic. Value is belief.

we can reimagine the role of the inventor a million ways, and by a million names, but true deep innovation—like invention—makes up the ACT I, II, III of great research, and not the other way around.
true deep innovation, like invention is a hallmark contribution to the art, science, business and potential of being human.
we could use more artists and scientists of technology today (for the craftsmanship of innovation).
