Please share and help us find a missing teenager from Bootle. Suade Mills, 15, was last seen earlier today (Monday 2 November) at Liverpool Lime Street Station and enquiries are ongoing to find her. She is described as being around 5ft 5in tall, wears glasses, has facial piercings and a tattoo of a flower on her left hand. When last seen, Suade was wearing a black coat, grey bottoms and black trainers. She has links to Bromley. If you see Suade, please call 999 so we can make sure she’s safe. The Twilight Zone (1959 - 1964) only existed because white folks refused to talk about Emmett Till. In 1955, Rod Serling tried to air “Noon on Doomsday,” a drama about Emmett Till's murder. But TV executives were reluctant to offend Southern corporate sponsors. Serling realized he couldn't show a white mob killing a Black man on national TV. But if he made the victims green aliens, the sponsors wouldn’t complain. So he used science fiction to smuggle civil rights, McCarthyism, and the realities of war right past the white folks.
