Andy Burnham thinks it’s “hard to say” whether immigration is too high.
I’ll make it clear for him: it’s too high.
The British people, time and time again, have made it clear for him: it’s too high.
Public services are on the brink of collapse because Labour and the Tories imported over 9 MILLION people in just 10 years.
Each GP now has nearly 200 more patients than in 2015. We’d need 3,000 more GPs just to get back to where we were.
We have over 6 million people on waiting for hospital care, with 110,000 of them waiting over a year for treatment.
A million young people are still without work, having to compete with half the world just to get a job.
1.3 million households are waiting for social housing.
1.5 million foreign nationals are receiving welfare, at a cost of £23 billion a year.
And in the next few years, Labour is expected to add another million people.
Burnham still can’t bring himself to say that’s too high.
This is madness. And it is a betrayal.
Reform will deliver net negative migration.
We will deport every illegal migrant and abolish ILR.
We will put the British people first.

Andy Burnham spent years pretending to be the champion of northern working-class communities, only to spend the last fortnight kite-flying freedom of movement and sabotaging his own Home Secretary.
Labour is in open civil war. Shabana Mahmood knows the immigration numbers are completely unsustainable, yet the moment she tries to introduce even modest curbs, Burnham and the progressive wing pull the rug from beneath her.
They cannot govern, they cannot agree, and they have zero intention of ever controlling British borders. Nigel is entirely right to turn the blowtorch on them at 4:30pm.

Shabana Mahmood has just demonstrated she is not the strong Home Secretary she sold herself as.
She’s just caved into hard left cabinet members and watered down immigration reforms, even for those on ‘fraudulent’ care worker visas. 300,000 immigrants will be able to qualify to remain in Britain forever, some never should’ve been here in the first place.

Here's what they are not telling you ⬇️
First, they are massively expanding immigration by launching new sponsorship routes, resettlement schemes from Gaza & Afghanistan, lowering the salary requirements for visas, introducing youth migration from Europe, and softening their reforms to 'Indefinite Leave to Remain', making the Boriswave permanent.
They don't want you to know about all this. And on top of that they are also pushing for EU free movement.
Second, the reason you no longer recognise your cities, towns and increasingly your villages is because of the "churn" that is going on beneath the static net migration figures that they present to as "progress".
Net migration is nearly 200,000 a year. But now look at what is going on beneath that figure:
Last year, 627,000 people migrated into Britain from outside Europe, with 350,000 staying.
At the same time, roughly 246,000 British people left Britain, with 136,000 leaving and not returning.
Increasingly, Britain is losing its best and brightest while its politicians and global corporations import masses of migrants from radically different cultures, nations, and economies.
This is why you increasingly feel like a stranger in your own country and no longer recognise the places you once knew.
And now it will accelerate.
Look at the budget small print last week.
While Burnham tells you migration is "coming down" they are actively planning on importing another 1 million people between today and 2031.
Another two cities the size of Liverpool in just a few years.
And they will not leave the European Convention on Human Rights which means we will never be able to stop the boats and control our own borders & laws.
I explain all this to readers 2-3 times a week, none of whom will be surprised by what Shabana Mahmood says today because we called it out months ago.
Don't believe what they are telling you.
They are gaslighting you.
