I'd say about once a week I opened twitter and get absolutely fucking enraged by all the people still using it. How was this not the end?
I never realized what a burden this account was until I finally stopped using it. Constantly wondering if I was being ignored or if it was "the algorithm". The slow realization that some mutuals literally had me muted. Realizing that at nearly 40 I was still desperately wanting
Bluesky is just easier now. Not everyone has moved over, but enough have that it's not tumbleweeds and crickets.
Anyway, I don't need anyone to follow up, or feel guilty, or feel like they made a mistake. I just needed to get all that off my chest here, one more time.
