is there a plausible scenario where further US escalation pushes Iran to go beyond targeting the region infrastructure and actually attempt to seize territory in one of the smaller GCC states?

is this an official confirmation that Poland is a Third World country?
🚨🇵🇱COUP UNDERWAY IN POLAND! PM Donald Tusk has just sent police to storm Constitutional Tribunal building in Warsaw in the middle of the night. Tusk waited until President Karol Nawrocki left the country before ordering the police takeover. Nawrocki was halfway to Senegal when he abruptly turned his plane around and rushed back to Poland to confront the unfolding crisis. The EU, which backs Donald Tusk, has STILL NOT issued a statement on this unprecedented crisis or condemned the attempted coup.

i don't get why leftists even entertain these arguments. if you reject liberalism, why bother proving mao wasn't a dictator? why not reject the premise that democracy is the ultimate standard of political legitimacy? you're conceding the framework before the argument even begins
Examining the actual power structure of the NSDAP proves this is false. In fact Hitler was not a dictator in the technical sense, since all his decisions required the approval of the leading committees and councils of the party

Another election it is
Israel’s Channel 13 exit poll projects a divided Knesset, with the opposition bloc securing 53 seats, Netanyahu’s coalition bloc 50 seats, and Arab parties 17 seats. Neither major bloc reaches the 61 seats required for a majority in Israel’s 120-seat parliament.

This is just false. The economic interests have long been secured through partnerships with a number of monarchies and dictatorships in the region. Including militarily. Israel isn’t that important from this angle at all. Communists will continue to cope about being wrong tho.
Israel is a bridgehead for imperialism's economic assets in the region

Agreed. Egypt actually spent much of 2023 keeping the pound at 31 which led to dollar shortages and a bigger black market. only to let it fall past 50 in 2024 anyways. Better to let the currency adjust than burn reserves defending a rate the market won’t sustain
The Egyptian Pound is falling. That's not a sign of weakness, but a sign of good policy. Oil prices are spiking as fears of another hot war build, so the weaker Pound is offsetting all of that. Egypt deserves huge kudos for letting the Pound float... robinjbrooks.substack.com/p/…
