Smart work by Vance to plant this question and soft launch his strategy for the next two years of getting this question. (and if not planted then smart work to have his answer loaded)
College student confronts JD Vance: "In 2024 I cast my first ever vote for you and President Trump because of your promises for real change on immigration, affordability, government accountability and foreign policy, particularly an end to the costly the foreign wars of the old Republican establishment... Many of us, myself included, feel like those promises have not been fully realized, especially now that we're in another conflict in the Middle East again... Why should we trust Republicans with 2 more years to deliver the change we voted for?"

I was in my hotel in DuPont Circle waiting to hear the bang….

It’s like the Great Gatsby in there I bet. All kinda shady shit going down.
My last few years in DC, the White House perimeter is getting pushed further and further back (pedestrians can barely see it now) but at the same time there’s always some kinda party going on at the complex. Always a line outside a security check gate with people dressed up.

Don’t ya wanna have access during cool moments like this. There’s literally party music in the background. They’ve made it harder to get close to the WH so they could sell it off to the bourgeois class.
AF1 circles back over the White House tonight after its initial Halloween flyover.

Of course none of this would’ve been made possible if not for social media creating an ecosystem around viral moments and fomo. Fascinating study in current American culture.

Heard it from my hotel room. Sounded like a plane was about to crash in the middle of the neighborhood
I’m probably being that person, but that flyover in DC right now was very scary. Essentially no heads up that it would be happening and it sounded like a regular commercial plane (AF1 essentially is). I don’t mind jets but I actually thought a plane was going to crash

Yet the democrats lost to him twice. 🤷🏽‍♂️
Trump: I'm the only president to pass. I passed 3 cognitive tests. And they're hard. They have a lion, a bear, a snake, and a camel. They say, which one is the snake? It's a very powerful test, very highly respected test, very well known test, 30 questions, very hard. I passed it all 3 times. I aced it

Trump says stuff like this so often because he thinks that’s how stupid people think. He’s trying to connect.
Trump on solar panels: "They kill all the animals. The animals jump on them and they fry."

He would’ve been the FUNNIEST stand up comedian in history. If only his father had hugged more.

Didn’t see a single republican inside the Cheesecake Factory across the street from the White House (yes, that’s a thing).

I had dinner tonight at a neighborhood restaurant in DC and a Long Island is $17….
every meal is $20

Stop holiday creep!
I don't have kids so you can ignore my opinion if you'd like, but I think a month full of trunk-or-treats is dumb and has watered down the spirit of Halloween. It all felt so much more special when it was one night of going house to house in (likely) a homemade costume.

Bravo to Ohio Democrats for playing this cycle so well. Everyone stayed on messaging. Gave the Republicans English rope. Stayed patient. And created a couple of pickup opportunities no one saw coming this easily. Makings of a great ‘28 staff.

Off a fortune created on the backs of the American taxpayer
Elon Musk has cemented his record as the largest individual political donor in modern American history. Musk poured $446 million of his own money into this year’s midterm elections, mostly aimed at preserving the Republican Party’s control of Congress. wapo.st/4igb5Kq

A lot of y’all are too new to #DisTwitter to know this but the Disney Parks Blog used to throw the BEST parties for fans and it (maybe intentionally) ended up creating the first Disney “influencer” ecosystem online. Wild stuff.
14 years ago today I saw a Wreck it Ralph at Downtown Disney and ate Earl of Sandwich for the very first time.

“HOLY SHIT!!” I see democrats are committed to mimicking the tweeting style used by republican outrage accounts. It’s juvenile, forced, and undermines whatever information you’re trying to share.
HOLY SHIT: Three male sex workers just came forward saying they were paid to have sex with Lindsey Graham.
