FUD:
Web components suck! No one is using them!
But is that true?
Google:
Our annual $35 billion revenue YouTube product is built on Web Components.
Microsoft:
We converted our entire content platform from React SSR to Web Components which doubled the perf. We finally crossed the $10 billion annual revenue milestone.
Adobe:
We built Photoshop Web with Web Components.
Salesforce:
Our $31 billion annual revenue platform has been based on Web Components for years.
SpaceX:
We built our dashboard system with Web Components and launched rockets into space.
GitHub:
We've been building parts of the GitHub experience with Web Components for years.
Anyone else building with Web Components?

Folks, there's an RFC for @angular's interop APIs for converting between Signals and Observables. It may help them if you add some use cases (but please don't just create noise to create noise like "yes!" or whatever).
Hey! I've added a comment I think will be helpful: github.com/angular/angular/d…
I think the interop story is a near-miss and could be better. I also spotted a potential bug in `fromSignal`

🔭 I'm looking for a new long-term role!
I believe that there's a ton of untapped potential in computing, and that a lot of it is limited by (broadly understood) interfaces.

CSS Tip! 🚀
Use custom properties to power parallax effects 😎
Use JavaScript to pass the pointer position to CSS. Let CSS handle the rest, moving things at different rates 💪
card:hover{
rotate: calc(var(--ratio-y) * 50deg);
}
Play with card effects ✨

I've been looking into new benchmark from @builderio team. Still working out the kinks and more involved examples but I am glad to see effort going into looking at these sorts of metrics.
Replying to @RyanCarniato @FredKSchott
To follow up. Astro result seems like run variance. I haven't found much. The size difference is Astro, Qwik, Nuxt3, and Angular aren't Gzipped whereas the others are.
On my M1 hydration isn't emphasized. Not that I'd expect it to be for Todos. Maybe throttling is compromised.

When I’m well rested, I’m coming up with completely different, much better solutions.
