Ok, I’m holding my nose to come onto X today to congratulate the guys at @Foxtrot for a great episode. Miss you guys!
Now, back under a rock (or Threads and BlueSky). 🤘🧡

I was looking at a satellite view on AppleMaps of @ShellEnergyStdm, ready to be dazzled, when I saw this… 😳
Not what I was hoping to see.
Who in hell is Mount Union, and how did they steal the Dynamo Stadium? 🤬
So, I was flipping through the @HoustonDynamo roster page and randomly clicking on players. First of all, there are no stats available (there’s no one that could update this?) And then, there’s this ad, yay, 2 Dynamo made player of the match day! But, wait a minute… 😬
@GlennDavisSoc I enjoyed your interview with Pat Onstad.
When you were talking about local guys not progressing out of Dynamo2, I wanted you to mention Marcelo Palomino and Juan Castilla. Both Houston natives who grew up in the academy then suddenly left. Disappointing.
Is it time I come back to Twitter (oh, I hear it has a new name now 🤷🏻♂️)? 🧡🤘
72%Yes. Nobody cares anyway
28%No. It’s still toxic here

Hey, @gryneos @WilsonCalvert @theSurlyBiker @gratifihouston @NorthlineLex @BikeHouston @Houstorian please post your content on BlueSky. I can’t stand to drop in on X but sometimes I do and see all your content I’m missing.
I refuse to ❤️ anything on X even though I want to.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Congressman and former mayor Sylvester Turner. He was an advocate for our community and his energy was contagious as he cheered for sports teams across the city.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Not happy the @HoustonDynamo forced me onto X to play along with this. I avoid it like the plague (it’s worse) but I still get Dynamo notifications to keep up. They post so little on BlueSky I miss out. Now, I’m back to BlueSky. Bye. 🧡🤘
Am I the only Dynamo fan that is frustrated that I still have to go to Twitter for most of my @HoustonDynamo coverage? I want to completely dump the app, but there is so much Dynamo news I would miss. Come to BlueSky and move your content there. Please. 🧡🤘🍊

For me, the People’s House has always been about welcoming everyone.
America, thank you for trusting me with this sacred place. I’ve loved opening the doors to the Oval Office wider than ever these past four years.
It’s a good thing but also sad. Remember the excitement when he signed? At his first scrimmage the supporters parked a truck at HSP so they could try to stand on it to see over the fence to watch him play. We were desperate for good news back then! And yeah, he was great! 🧡🇵🇾

Curtis Yarvin wants American democracy toppled. He has some prominent Republican fans.
In 2022, @awprokop went deep on the right-wing commentator who’s "spent the most time gaming out how, exactly, the US government could be toppled and replaced." vox.com/policy-and-politics/…
That reminds me of back at a game during the pandemic, when Coco was still somewhat unknown but one of my favorites. A lady sitting near me, but socially distanced, wanted to join my Coco fan club. He was her favorite player as well.
