The day after Bitcoin Histórico last year felt like the day after a major music festival.
There were fireworks. Bitcoin rockstars on stage inside the National Palace...
Giant screens outside blasting Bitcoin signal (translated into Spanish) in the “Times Square of Central America”
21,000 free pupusas (with tallow instead of seed oils) for Salvadorans while they listened for free to speakers like Max Keiser, Jimmy Song, Ricardo Salinas, Jeff Booth, and more.
And inside the Palace?
The “blue carpet” (Salvadoran “red carpet”) experience with Bitcoiner friends from around the world.

A nightclub bouncer in Santa Barbara got a call from a friend. They were leaving for El Salvador in two days 🇸🇻
He went. Thirty minutes in El Zonte was enough. He didn’t move for years, but he never really left either.
When he came back with his dad, he called his wife from the beach and told her they were moving. Then he sold everything he owned in France, everything they had in California, and put all of it into a food shack the size of a box.
