Mondrian painting sets record at @sothebys for $51 million as part of Sotheby's Modern Evening Auction last night that totalled $253.3 million. Together with the David M. Solinger Collection which totalled $137.9 million, Sotheby's entire evening concluded with $391.2 million.
And with 100% sold, Sotheby’s auctioneer Oliver Barker receives white gloves from @brookemlampley as The David M. Solinger Collection is officially deemed a ‘white glove sale.’
