Picture has NC State going against itself. Sounds about right.
A bipartisan bill proposing sweeping changes to how college sports operate passed the Senate. Here’s what’s happening. (Corrects an earlier image, now deleted, that incorrectly said the Senate passed a law.) 🔗 on.wsj.com/4ypYBqE
GM is the most critical piece imo. Hire a guy with COLLEGE experience identifying portal talent and managing NIL/rev share.

Will it work? Who knows.
Are boosters and the fan base excited? Yes.
High-risk, high-reward like most coaching hires.
BREAKING: Philip Rivers is coming home.
The NC State legend is finalizing a deal to return to the Wolfpack as the program's 37th head coach, as we reported to @PackPower247 subscribers on Saturday.

Will be interesting to see what hiring PR does to unlock fundraising because this whole thing is contingent on that happening. But if it doesn’t…yikes.
Is that a real thing that happened? I guess the Hornets are getting a head start on the whole tanking thing.
Look, Philip may not work out as a college head coach but State already tried the ‘normal’ thing and look where it got the football program for 14 years. These national talking/writing heads can’t see the future and don’t know the nuances of being a head coach at State in 2027.
Man apparently serious about writing makes a biased claim on Twitter. When will he ever learn he can’t read the future?
NC State is apparently serious about hiring Phillip Rivers.
When will these folks ever learn that hiring the big name with no college coaching experience NEVER WORKS?
That and my CFP rankings thoughts in this week's Mailbag.

I think it could work great. Might not.
If Rivers means orders of magnitude more for the roster, why can’t it? He has so many coaching connections.
Deion is not a good comp. He doesn’t even try to do a lot of the stuff you need to succeed. I don’t think Rivers is a grift.

We have confirmed @TheAthletic that LIV Golf will be pivoting to a wind down, per multiple sources briefed on the matter. BC Partners feels as though it has run out of time to make LIV 2.0 viable.
