Every sentient journalist here knows these are the sources of "news" in Gaza, and have been since the Hamas takeover 19 years ago. This is obviously a major story, but Western editors can't cover it honestly because they've all played ball and are thus implicated themselves.

In the last few months, my life has changed beyond all compare. I made a decision to support my Jewish friends and without hesitation. I feel anxious almost everywhere I go but I do not regret my decision. I have seen friends that I have helped and supported turn on me without a conversation. It hurts because I know that not only do they know Jewish people but they have benefited hugely from the association with Jews. British Jews have always made London better from Philip Sallon's crazy nightclubs to the brick lane Bagel shop.
More importantly and most shocking is that many of these anti Isreal people have zero political instincts. They only care because it has become fashionable to care. I would go as far to say that they are the biggest and most hideous cowardly fakes to walk this earth. Why are people who support their Jewish friends being called to account while these fakes, like Ed Sheeran, Jade and countless others get to pretend to care about a situation they could not comprehend even if they really tried. I support anyone calling for peace. That is what we should all be doing. How can Isreal be an apartheid state when Arabs and Christians live there peacefully and are part of the political system? As for Ed Miliband, clearly we know why he never because Prime Minister and Andy Burnham won't be getting my vote. In life there are people who see what's going on and others who just blindly follow the trends. Remember. Fashions change.
Yes. I do mean you!

What Are You Afraid Of?
Jews and Muslim dissidents have real reasons to be afraid. The rest of us mostly have friends and careers to lose.
What exactly are people afraid of when they stay silent about what they really think of the Gaza war, and about Israel more generally? The Romanian-Swedish MEP @alicemedce asked that question rhetorically at a conference in Brussels last month, after I had spoken about the academic colleagues and friends who discreetly email me to express their support but would never do so in public. (Alice herself is completely fearless.)
Physical threats
If you are Jewish yourself, of course you have plenty to be afraid of. I hope I don’t need to remind you of the draconian safety measures Jews now have to take all across Europe. This was already the case long before 7 October, but it has intensified since. Jewish schools, synagogues and kindergartens look like military fortresses.
Jews are being pushed out of academia and civic life unless they prostrate themselves before the activist mob and ritually denounce Israel — the one country that can realistically protect them against exactly this sort of antisemitism. Many Jewish academics have been boycotted or hounded off campus, or have left academia altogether in a mixture of despair and disgust.
All across the West, as Hana Raviyt Schank wrote in Future of Jewish, Jews are being “pushed out of civic life” — taking their surnames off mailboxes, changing their names on delivery apps, removing the mezuzah from the doorpost. If even a tenth of this were happening to Muslim minorities, you’d never hear the end of it. But since it is only Jews, hardly anyone cares.
Muslim and Arab dissidents are another group that is physically targeted. I recently met @NoraBussigny (pictured in the middle), a French-Moroccan journalist who infiltrated the anti-Israel movement at great personal risk and exposed its hatred and violence.
We were interviewed together by @wsachs and @NimrodErez23 (also in the picture) for a documentary about rising antisemitism and anti-Zionism, a sequel to their shocking October 8.
Because her mother is a Moroccan Muslim, Nora is considered a traitor who dishonors the community. She now requires police protection whenever she speaks in public. You can read her remarkable story in her gripping book Les Nouveaux Antisémites, hopefully to be translated soon, or in this excerpt in The Free Press.
Social consequences
But what are regular—goyim—academics and public intellectuals afraid of? No secret police is going to drag them out of bed in the middle of the night, and nobody is going to slip polonium into their tea.

This is truly insane.
Being rabidly anti-Israel is the single most important litmus test on the Left. Without it, you can be as far Left as Scott Weiner and the Left will chase you out. If you hate Israel, though, pretty much anything else is forgiven. It is the sine qua non of the Left in 2026.

Warning to travelers especially women - my hotel room at the @hyatt Kabuki in San Francisco was broken into by a person wielding a metal pole. It was caught on camera and my laptop and luggage were stolen and items were left in a stairwell. There is no key card security!
Again, female travelers BEWARE do not stay at the @Hyatt @HyattConcierge Kabuki in San Francisco. It’s simply unsafe. My room was burglarized when a person with a metal pole broke in during the day hours after I checked in stealing my luggage and laptop. This happened last February and Hyatt refuses to compensate me for what was stolen. The staff was virtually non responsive. I had to call the police and file a report.
More enraging is that the state of California protects hotels when guests are burglarized @Hyatt will not compensate me for the theft or replace my stolen items. The Kabuki Hotel’s staff seems resigned to the fact that people can enter the hotel and access rooms with metal poles.
The staff at the @hyatt Kabuki in SF did absolutely nothing. I called the police.

I wrote about this amazing documentary nearly a year ago - no British television company dares show it, but for the first time U.K. audiences will be able to buy or rent the October 8 documentary which reveals how Jew haters in the West were primed and ready to start their attacks while Hamas terrorists were still killing Israelis.
It has some truly chilling material in it.

Reuven Morrison was murdered at Bondi.
The powerful words of his daughter Sheina Gutnick should be read by every Australian.
She speaks truth to power.
“My father is dead because those in power chose inaction.
And that stain will not wash off.
You are guilty.”
Her statement 👇
“My father was murdered.
In cold blood. Shot. For being Jewish.
He did not cower. He did not lay low. He sprang to action. To fight. He was a man bigger than life itself. No boundary was uncrossable. Impossible was not a word in his mind.
He put others before himself. It cost him his life. Ripped from his wife, daughter, son-in-law, and dear grandchildren. Leaving a gaping, heaving wound of sorrow.
His love reached far and wide. His impact on the world was quiet, but absolutely immense.
A philanthropist with a heart of gold, bigger than his chest.
A man with humour and wit.
A friend whose loyalty knew no bounds.
It is a surreal nightmare from the deepest, darkest depths of hell. A reality far too horrendous for any human mind to process.
Devoted to his faith. A loud and proud Jew. He fled the USSR to live as a Jew without fear.
To an Australia that welcomed him with open arms. Where he rekindled his faith. Where he built a family, a successful business, and became a quiet philanthropist.
A large man of immense kindness, who put the needs of others before his own. Who brought light into every life he touched.
And then.
Australia did not fail quietly.
It failed loudly, repeatedly, and with full knowledge. Its government watched hatred grow and chose to do nothing.
They minimised it. They excused it. They dismissed Jewish warnings as noise.
A black, monstrous tornado cloud of antisemitic hate rolled in. It marched on bridges. It waved green, black, and red flags. It called for death to the Jews.
This was not a shock.
This was not sudden.
This was not unpredictable.
Antisemitism was out in the open. Threats were real.
Fear was voiced again and again. And the government did nothing that mattered. Collectively, they abandoned us all, allowing antisemitism to fester.
A government that refuses to protect Jews after being warned does not get to claim innocence. A government that lets hate fester holds responsibility for the blood that follows. It has his blood on its hands. The blood of all the victims.
To those sheep who mindlessly reposted calls for intifada, you are guilty. To those who adorned themselves in keffiyehs and pro-Pal slogans, you are guilty.
My father was murdered because leaders were weak.
Because they were lazy.
Because they cared more about optics than lives.
Do not dare call this a lone act.
Do not dare speak of bad luck or bad timing.
This was the result of neglect and moral rot at the top.
Australia betrayed him.
Its government betrayed him.
They cleared the way.
My father is dead because those in power chose inaction.
And that stain will not wash off.
You are guilty.”

Incredibly powerful and well done. If you have the opportunity, go. Take friends. Every single person in Canada should see this. Every single person in a Western country should see this. They need to see this.

Reporter grills Columbia student after she demands the university help feed protestors occupying Hamilton Hall:
"It seems like you're saying, 'we want to be revolutionaries, we want to take over this building, now would you please bring us some food'."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Her claims are misleading:
(1) Per Columbia, campus dining is open (John Jay Dining Hall, Fac Shack, JJ's Place)

(2) Humanitarian aid is for saving lives in the most dire situations (violent conflict, natural disasters). The students can leave if they want.
