I’ll try to map the power dynamics here: respected vs unknown accs is apples to oranges for a simple reason: reputation management - respected accs have a lot to lose - unknown or not yet socially coded accs have almost nothing to lose example 1: why would a notable CT acc that takes paid promo jobs join a campaign with no fixed compensation, when they’ve already got inbound for standard (and mostly risk-free) deals? meanwhile, an emerging acc sees a new monetization model and thinks: “finally, my shot” and goes all-in so the tension isn’t irrational → it’s a predictable system stress test triggered by a disruptive model This marketing-adjacent InfoFi execution (and I’m framing it like that because it’s not the only thing this tech stack can do) is realistically run by the “CT middle class” accounts like for example mine and above, not the top whales or the lurkers simply because they’re: - relevant enough to carry enough influence - still hungry enough to play the game - flexible enough (from a risk appetite standpoint) to confront the change faster what I’ve seen is they the current dynamic surfaced both opportunists and operators AI slop, hell sure, but also signal so yeah, you get noise, but under it, you also get velocity because some people are learning fast and adapting smart and of course there’s pushback, every shift breaks someone’s workflow some do it with tact, others lash out and the visible majority never handles disruption with grace in fact, IRL, this is what you see in the news in a from or riots and protests from where I stand, this is textbook resistance to change (phase 2 of any adoption cycle) is this for everyone?
