To me, it's not about the number, but the questions' nature & how relevant they are to the conversation.
what’s the max number of questions a lead can ask you before you get suspicious they will be a tough client

The best support teams don't focus on completing as many tasks as possible. They focus on making life easier for the people they support. At Explicit Digital, we do this by going beyond task completion. Every client gets a dedicated project manager who coordinates the work, works with specialists, checks the details, and looks for better ways to get things done. Sometimes, that means improving a process. Other times, it means automating repetitive steps to save the client time and effort. We also work alongside existing VAs and internal teams, helping them manage overflow, handle specialized tasks, and keep things moving when workloads increase. #SMB #CRE #Founder #Finance

With 3-5 clients, one assistant can probably keep everything moving. At 7-10, cracks start showing. At 15, there are too many moving parts for one person to own everything effectively. #SMB #CRE #Founder

"I can't switch off." That's the real reason many founders work from dawn till burnout. Even on weekends. Not because the work is impossible. But because everything depends on them. The moment they step away: • Emails pile up. • Follow-ups stall. • Admin waits. • Projects lose momentum. • The next day becomes a mountain. Most founders believe that once they hire a great VA, everything will be fine. So they hire one. Same problem. They hire 2–3 more VAs. Same problem. Meanwhile, what they actually need is a system that keeps work moving without them. There's a big difference. That's why we do things differently. You get a dedicated Project Manager + a team of specialists. One point of contact. A team executing behind the scenes. As a founder, you stop asking: "What did I miss while I was away?" And start asking: "What's next?" Want to learn more? DM or book a meeting below to get started! #COO #SMB #CRE #Founder

This is for all the home service companies defending the "We already have a VA" hill. Have you heard of the single point of failure? Your VA can be good at their job and still get sick, take time off, get overwhelmed, or encounter tasks beyond their expertise. When that happens, who steps in? If the answer is you, your support system has a gap. At Explicit Digital, we provide a second layer of support that works alongside your existing team, handling overflow, coordinating specialists, and keeping work moving when your primary support is stretched. You don't need to replace a good VA. You need a system that doesn't depend on one person to keep everything running. PS: If your VA is your only line of support, you're one unexpected absence away from becoming the backup. #SMB #CRE #Coach #Finance

We can be the execution arm behind you and your existing VA when things get busy or life happens. #SMB #CRE
I often get this response to emails and DMs: "Hey Maxwell, I already have a VA." TBH, we're not asking you to fire your VA. But have you ever thought about what happens when your VA is overwhelmed with work or has an emergency? Now the tasks they were handling start piling up. Follow-ups get delayed. Leads wait longer. Client requests sit unanswered. Updates don’t get done. Deadlines start slipping. And suddenly, one person's absence or inability to handle 10+ tasks at the same time becomes a business problem. That's the gap our support service helps cover. We provide a PM-led execution team that can step in, coordinate the right specialists, and keep critical work moving. TL;DR: We can be the execution arm behind you and your existing VA when things get busy or life happens.

Curious about us? Here's a quick introduction. At Explicit Digital, we provide operational support that goes beyond completing assigned tasks. Each client gets a dedicated project manager who coordinates execution, works with specialists, checks the quality of the work, and looks for ways to improve or automate repetitive processes. Our service works alongside your existing support team, not replace it. The goal is to take pressure off your team, handle work that falls through the cracks, and prevent you from becoming the backup when things get busy. If your team is stretched thin, important tasks keep slipping through the cracks, or you're spending too much time keeping operations on track, let's talk. We can explore where the right support would make the biggest difference for your business. #SMB #CRE #Founder #Coach

Hope the first recruiter is safe. With the new VA coming in, it might also be worth considering a second layer of support to handle overflow and unexpected issues. That way, you're not back to putting out fires whenever someone is unavailable.
First recruiter got lost in the sauce in the recent hurricane Havnt heard from her (hope she’s okay) Just finished training her replacement. She starts hiring Monday. Training a new VA to replace another one that’s holding us back :/ Starts next Wednesday Made serious breakthrough with content to use for myself and my clients businesses this week though Upward and onward

I think my guy Seth Godin declared "Make big promises and keep them." I sure strive for that. Not a big fan of underpromise and overdeliver...

I saw this on LinkedIn: "Don't take criticism from someone you wouldn't take advice from" What's your take? #SMB #CRE #Founder #Coach

I started posting on LinkedIn about 24 hours ago. The screenshot below is my content performance. Looks great. I will give it a month.
After holding back for 3 years, I finally made my first post on LinkedIn a few hours ago. I'll try to maintain the same energy. Let's see how it goes.

Missing a specific deadline usually hurts trust. It creates a clear, measurable failure. When you say "I'll get back to you by 5 PM tomorrow" the other person has a concrete expectation. If you miss it without warning, they experience a broken commitment. This can erode reliability as much as the vague "I'll get back to you" #SMB #CRE #Entrepreneur

I used to get annoyed whenever I saw AI slop on posts. You know the kind: 1. It's not about working harder. It's about working smarter. 2. It's not about the destination. It's about the journey. 4. It's not just X. It's Y. 5. It's not about doing more. It's about doing what matters. Now, I'm not bothered anymore. A lot of people have consumed so much AI-generated content that they've started sounding like AI, even in real-life conversations. At this point, I just find it interesting. #3 was ommited. Just to see how many people would observed. #SMB #CRE

"I'll get back to you" is vague. "I'll get back to you by 5 PM tomorrow" is a commitment. It gives the other person a clear timeline and something to hold you accountable to. If you want people to trust your word, be specific about when you'll deliver. #SMB #CRE #Founder

It’s better to work with specialists instead of generalists. Have them cross trained in several critical functions for backup, but a remote worker shouldn’t have too many roles or nothing gets done adequately. Besides it’s demoralizing for the worker because there is no way they can win on a daily basis.

We do both. When a client assigns us a task, we don't just complete it and move on. We pay attention to the details and look for better ways to get it done, so the next time, it takes less time and effort. Sometimes, we even go a step further by automating repetitive steps at no extra cost to the client.
Does your team focus only on completing tasks, or also on improving systems?
